I wasn't going to write a post about him again but I'm glad he won, even if it's for a musical I don't hold in particularly high regard. Other winners of the night included Tom Hiddleston and David Tennant, and the musical 'Memphis' took home a few awards. He went home to SK briefly recently to do a concert and brought his co-star/co-nominee Hugh Maynard (plays John) with him to guest duet, which was pretty cute.

the other day i was watching a video of him singing and someone pointed out when he belts his voice his throat swells up like a toad but ever since then that's all i could think about whenever i look at his face

but he has a lovely voice...

i love the weird habits some professional singers have. the first time i saw an opera (locally) the lead women used her tongue to provide vibrato and it was all i could focus on the whole time
