Actor Lee Min Ho‘s agency, Starhaus Entertainment, will be debuting a new girl group in collaboration with a Chinese media company.
The entertainment company has created a female duo called Smile Girls with Shanghai Media Group (SMG), a Chinese multimedia company that owns several TV stations and radio stations in China. A representative from the Korean agency told the media that “the two sides are planning on a close business relationship in the future, and this [girl group] is the first of their many projects together.”
Smile Girls will be a group consisting of a Korean member (Yoo Hye In) and a Chinese member (Zheng Qiu Hong). They will have their debut stage on Dragon TV‘s New Year’s Gala, performing a song titled “1001 Wishes.”
Yoo Hye In, a rookie singer, is also active as an actress. She will be appearing in an upcoming movie called “Snow in Summer,” playing a couple with actor Seo Kang Joon. Zheng Qiu Hong was one of the four finalists on the second season of “Chinese Idol.”
