Three Agencies Co-produce New Hip-Hop Girl Group Rubber Soul

Three agencies, Universal Music Korea, Happy Tribe Entertainment, and With HC, are co-producing a new hip-hop girl group called Rubber Soul.

On February 2, With HC revealed the album cover for Rubber Soul’s debut single, which will drop on February 13. Producer and artist group Mad Soul Child is helming the production for the upcoming release.

Rubber Soul is a hip-hop female trio consisting of Lala, Choi Cho, and Kim (working names). According to With HC, the group’s name is a reference to The Beatles’ album ‘Rubber Soul,’ through which The Beatles came into their own as artists. The name expresses the agency’s desire for Rubber Soul to develop together with the mainstream audience.
