The next episode is going to be intense. I think I've figured out who will battle whom (as well as who will get to compete for track 2) based on mnet's flop editing. I'm worried for my faves :(
I'm not really happy with the permanent elimination. I'm attached to this cast and I enjoy laughing at the messes. The Jolly V vs Tymee battle looks crazy lol.
i try to like jessi but she does something to annoy me every episode. this time it was picking on everyone for changing when seulong walked in like ur not special girl esp with how thirsty she is being for zico on instagram
her rapping in both korean and english is still rly bad to me idg the hype, her performance reminded me of the bang bang one in that she couldnt even rap in english without slurring/mispronouncing everything so why does she prefer it so much
kisums friendship with jimin and cheetah will bring world peace. lil chams just a weirdo at this point she doesnt even try to talk to anyone or be useful, i cant @ her sweet bitchy act she should be worried about her own ass not picking on a high schooler FFS

listening to jessi rap in english makes me wonder how bad her diction is in korean cause like...she eats so many of her words and slurs them together. like when bom&hi released 'all i want for christmas' i heard for the first time how slurred bom's words are and it made me wonder how clear she is in korean too, except jessi isn't quite as bad as that, but it's the same question for both of them.
i feel like bom probably does slur in korean, if you listen to some songs where she and another member sing the same lyrics they sound p different. like in "i love you" i thought she and CL sang different lyrics in the "nae mameul barabwayo" part. but i still love her voice so its cool w me
straight up rapping aside i like jessi's parts on my type more than cheetah's, she just has more personality and she's the one who makes the song fun to listen to. cheetah's great and all but entertainment value is still pretty important. i think cheetah would've sounded better on seulong's track but she's obv talented enough to win either. regardless i like the song a lot it's really fun. it was charting under 'Just' when it came out.
kangnam seems really fucking annoying wowand i don't understand the issue with the chairs wtf i'm with tymee on this like it's supposed to be a serious song there are plenty of groups who just stand and sing or stand and rap chill. san e ruined full moon back when he was jumping around with his ~swag~ or w/e during the acoustic. maybe bc i wasn't watching it live but i thought it was good.
i'm also coming to the realization that cheetah is called cheetah bc she actually looks like the animal it's so cute. and this was the kind of thing jessi was ranting about last episode and she proved it's possible even in a competition so yeah i kind of love her.

I too thought that Kangnam was really annoying but then I thought, he seems like a straight forward type of guy, He won't leave out any bs and will tell you the truth. But when he said if he dated girls with short hair he would go with Cheetah and I was like 0_0...
the kangnam track turned out to be a bop. yuk jidams song... i felt like i was getting yelled at the whole time
I kinda wish both songs they were working on were a bit more similar so it would be an even battle between the two teams, but I get what they were doing with the 2 styles.
ia about Tymee. At first I was super down with her and supporting her and all because I have liked her tracks in the past but she's constantly putting others down while bringing herself up yet hasn't really brought anything to the table in this show at all?

Jessi is all style and no substance. I think her track will be good because she adds attitude. If it were just her it would be bleh. I wonder if people would say the same thing about her rapping if she said the same thing in Korean. They really don't like when people mess up their lyrics but she did and won!
I think Lil' Cham's main problem is that she has no rhythm. She didn't even mess up her lyrics, and they still thought she was off because of her execution!!
That's the conclusion I came to about Lil Cham. I literally blurted out "Damn she has no rhythm" watching her. I also think she's nervous about messing up/forgetting her lyrics so you can see her thinking and it's really distracting.

i'm sorry but when seulong said this i just about died tbh. i couldn't grasp what she was saying either. and english is my native language. :l i get that she's not super great with korean, but i wish she'd at least make an effort to rap in it instead of english. :T
I'm loving everything about Cheetah in this episode her verse, her sort of/not really flirtatious moments with Kangnam, and makeup, and her continuing friendship with Kisum (and Kisum's English in the first half, they're adorable).
I'm glad there's a battle next episode because if it was only about who get's on the other Verbal Jint track it would be such a boring episode.
If My Type was a drama, Cheetah would be the object of Kangnam's affections but Kangnam and Jessi would invariably be the bickering endgame couple. I cackled when she was like 'You're not my type.' I'm not too fond of how disrespectful and rude Jessi comes across when talking to people. She sassed Zico last episode too (although... not too mad about that). Also really distracted by her boobs. .____________.
Honestly, I keep thinking Jidam's teacher may be creating her performances and it keeps me from really appreciating her lyrically. A lot of it stems from how much help she was getting previously and her audition on SMTM (where she rapped a preexisting song and Swings let her in w/o knowing it wasn't hers). I need Unpretty Rapstar to make them write out an impromptu rap about a subject (so they can't pull the same bullshit in the freestyle rap).
Also... yeah, Mnet's fail editing. I could tell all the girls' choices based on the wall patterns/door position etc. just like I could tell who got on Seulong's track based on the mirrors in the waiting room.

cham is still my bias on this show. i just love watching her do... whatever it is she's doing. she obv deserves to get kicked off but im hoping itll be tymee instead :(

I'm coming around with Jessi. Even though I side eye and laugh my ass off at her pettiness, I think I understand where she is coming from when she's criticizing the others. But she also looks at others and notices she has a lot to work on as well so I like that even though she comes off as an intimidating person, she acknowledges her flaws and wants to work to better it. As a rapper she has stage presence point blank. Hopefully she can rap more in Korean then English next time.
And I might be the only one feeling this way but... Jmin...I feel like this is an easy ride for her because she's with AOA. I'm looking forward to see how she does with the rap battele next week because right now I still can't take her serious.
