I really love reading horror/paranormal stories even though I didnt watch horror movies.
I come across an interesting article that said lots of people experienced paranormal activities around 3 am because 3 am is basically too late for people to stay awake and too early for people to wake up.

I had 3 experiences that I don't know if they qualify as paranormal but they were creepy enough for chills to ran up my spine. My room is in the basement and my sister recently moved out to the room adjacent to mine so I'm now all alone at night.

First one happened around a year ago when she was still there, I was playing video games on my computer and my sister was asleep in the room next to me (Our rooms were connected so I had a door that lead directly to her room.) That door is right next to my computer desk. I'm playing the game and suddenly I hear someone calling my name right behind me in a hushed tone. It was loud enough that I jumped and started frantically calling out ''What? WHAT?'' because the noise scared the crap out of me. I thought it was my sister at first but the door to her room is closed and there is no way I could've heard her as loud as I did. So yeah, I freaked out for 10 min then went to bed with the tv on.

The second one happened 3 days ago. I had an empty dinner plate next to my keyboard as I was playing and all of a sudden. It made a bang as if it was floating a few inches off the desk then slammed back down. (I didn't actually see it float but I cannot find any other explanation for the sudden bang)

And the third one happened yesterday, I had a friend over and we went outside to smoke and when I came back. There was the footprint of a boot on my black couch as if someone had put his boot on there to tie it. When I asked my friend about it, he said there was no way he could've done it and I believe him because why would he lie about that? I'm convinced it wasn't there when I came into my room earlier because it's the first thing I saw when we came back so I couldn't have missed it.

And that's it for my small weird ass experiences. I'm not rocking back and forth in a corner or anything. I still sleep in the room with the lights off but those are pretty weird especially since they all happened within a year.

i don't really believe in ghost and paranormal shit like that but just in case i make it my whole hearted duty to mind my own business and not be nosy about strange occurrences. if i feel something weird is going on i just don't pay it any mind because curiousness gets you killed.

Not really a paranormal story but creepy AND LONG nonetheless.

When I was in high school (third / ninth grade) we went to Sweden for a 4-day trip and stayed in a school for the first night. Around 11PM a white van with two men in it started driving around the school and all of a sudden disappeared 10 minutes later. Around an hour later, someone started screaming and the alarm of the school went off. The front door was open while it was on double lock and someone was standing outside dressed in full black just staring at everyone.
We locked the door again, look at the white van passing by and the man was gone. We never saw them again and went to sleep around 2AM. It was honestly the creepiest thing ever and up to this day, I still don't know if it was real or if my teachers set up something like this, cause no matter what, they wouldn't wake up. I felt like I want in some sort of cheap ass horror movie on a budget.
