B2ST′s Yoon Du Jun, Seo Hyun Jin, and More Begin Script Reading for ′Let′s Eat 2′

Let′s Eat 2 has revealed photos of the first script reading.

The script reading for tvN′s Let′s Eat 2 took place at the end of January at the CJ E&M Center in Sangam-dong. Let′s Eat 2 will focus on Gu Dae Young (B2ST′s Yoon Du Jun), who moves to the city of Sejong to meet new neighbors.

Let′s Eat was a bibimbap of a drama that mixed in current social trends, such as people who live alone as well as thriller and romance genres all into one. Just like season one, Park Joon Hwa PD and writer Lim Soo Mi teamed up once again after a year of preparation for the second story.

During the script reading, Yoon Du Jun (Gu Dae Young), Seo Hyun Jin (Baek Suji), Kwon Yul (Lee Sang Woo), Kim Hee Won (Lim Tae Soo), Hwang Seok Jung (Kim Mi Ran), Jo Eun Ji (Hong In Ah), Lee Joo Seung (the strange man on the rooftop) and Hwang Seung Eon (Hwang Hye Rim) were present.

With season one being called ′the rediscovery of Yoon Du Jun′ with his flawless eating acting and perfect portrayal of his character, Yoon Du Jun displayed sophisticated and comfortable acting during the reading.

Seo Hyun Jin and Kwon Yul, both with strong backgrounds in acting, pulled off their characters without much hardship. Kim Hee Won and Hwang Seok Jung, who need no introductions, left impressionable performances, raising anticipation for the drama.

In charge of the directing, Park Joon Hwa PD stated, "When we were working on season one, I never expected the drama to become seasonal. I′m very happy to be able to put on season two due to all the love from the many viewers. If the focus of season one was on people living by themselves, season two will focus more on the relationships between people. We plan on telling the stories of different generations as well as the diverse groups of people mixed in our society."

"After the script reading, I had a very good feeling. I really liked interactions between the three main leads. Yoon Du Jun, who put on a calm performance that was clearly the result of much studying, Seo Hyun Jin, who pulled off her character perfectly like the character was made based on her, and Kwon Yuk, who perfectly took his handsome character and made it his own. It′s something that I keep on feeling on the set after the script reading. It′ll be worth anticipating the interactions between the three actors."

"With the strength of dignified actors and the energy of the younger actors, we′re anticipating that the drama will be twice the fun."

Let′s Eat 2 will begin in April.

I am still so upset that only Doojoon is coming back. Lee Soo Kyung was my favorite character in the show. Also Lawyer Kim ;__;

me too, i think i will miss all of them :/
lee soo kyung and doojun became a couple in past season and tbh its kinda awkward that only he is coming back (with probably new loveline...)
i loved first season because i found it relatable, dunno if the second one will ever top it... i hope it does but at the same time i doubt that.

Same here :( how do you feature him as the same character and get rid of his gf, they were perfect together.

At least he's good enough in this role that I have no fear for his acting, and Seo Hyun-jin is pretty fantastic too.

i didn't like the original. i love seo hyun jin though so maybe i'll try this.
