didn't really like the song, but i'm still excited to see a PV for shine. btw, didn't Pledis say that Jooyeon's contract with avex ends in March? Which makes me think that all their contracts with avex ends then... I'm wondering if avex is planning to drop them since they haven't been doing so well. the last avex group I followed, they released a 'best' album before being dropped :(
that might not entirely be true...after all kaeun was added to the group after they'd made their japanese debut? unless kaeun had been planned to be added to the group before that so she'd been signed too, idk. but for the rest of them that makes sense and is a lil worrying :(
I was excited but disappointed when I saw it was a compilation album. Their last original album sold under 5k despite being amazing and being preceded by two singles that sold reasonably well...I'm guessing most of the people who like their music but aren't huge fans have already bought/downloaded the music they like, so I don't see this selling well apart from among big fans :/
A best album after only two albums isn't nedessarily a death knell, but isn't it usually after three albums in Japan that they release a compilation? If they do get dropped by Avex, I really hope that means more promotion and comebacks in Korea at least. If they stop Japanese activities and continue to not do much as a group in Korea...urgh....
Either way, have preordered all three editions (not the Mu-Mo one) and am looking forward to the release regardless :)
I remember the time when I had to actively learn how to recognise who was who in AS pics and videos...and now I can tell them all apart in the wig shots without so much as a second thought :p
I've been watching Playgirlz School again this weekend - could really go for a (very belated) second season of that show!
afaik in performances these days bekah & kahi's raps have generally been split nana-lizzy with kaeun getting a few, except when oc aren't present at performances, in which case eyoung gets kaeun's leftovers with the odd line going to juyeon/uee. either way i'm excited to hear official studio versions!
kaeun would still get her singing lines because she is still one of the stronger singers imo (even if her tone is thin) i definitely hope eyoung gets jooyeon's lines though (and if not even that they better go to lizzy, if these random one-liners go to someone who's already got a quarter of the song i will be furious) and surely they can find a way to give her a bekah/kahi singing line or two? not that they will ofc
