Bec korea had a similar show with a foreign female pannel many years ago.
http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Global_Talk_Show

During the presscon of Abnormal Summit, most questions directed at the PD was related to how they "differed from popular show Misuda" and one of PD's answers was, "our panel is composed of men"

Towards the end of Misuda's run they added a male panel, maybe this show will eventually do the same in the future.

"In 2009 the program came under attack, receiving widespread criticism by netizens when a student panelist labeled short guys (men under 180cm) as "losers". [3] The program suffered a decline in popularity thereafter and was later cancelled."

Well, that's sucky and ridiculous.

The episodes where they talk about more serious/dark issues around the world are the ones I like the best. It creates an actual discussion, and it's interesting to hear different view points. Like the discrimination Muslims receive.
I wish Tyler had gone into more details about the Ferguson issue, but the way he presented it was basically like a closure, so I doubt he had much choice in that department.

My tolerance for the Chinese panelist (wow I forgot his name) is deteriorating. Sometimes he's okay but then he opens his mouth for too long and it's like "please just stop."

I don't know if it's Ilya or the producers, but talking about a stray cat as a big issue while there are "Russia friendly" soldiers in Russian military gear roaming Eastern Ukraine, plus talking down on the US and Germany and China is a huge no. I mean I understand it's supposed to be a fun show... When you mention the treatment of Muslims or African-Americans or ISIS, and just skip Ukrainian war altogether, that's just weird.

i think, he understand perfectly well that he can't talk about that whole situation freely... two people have been arrested on charges of treason already

this ep was really good. illya seems to fill the confident-i'll-butt-in-when-your-talking enes role well ... without be eyerollingly conservative while doing it. i like the nepalese dude a lot, too. i dont really care for the australian yet. i wish they would of brought back the one panelist from ... colombia? who was really confident and outgoing instead. plus australia is boring lol.

zhang yuan is too much. that schedule. lord.

those people arrested for treason were much closer to treason than bringing up the news on a foreign tv. much closer. also us eastern europeans have mastered talking our way around things without directly mentioning them, and korean is a language that is also perfect for that. i did point fingers, which i obviously don't expect ilya to do.
there is a difference between talking about something freely and shrugging it under the rug.
if he mentioned something remotely serious, i wouldn't have said a thing. but a cat... a cat out of all the potential topics.

edit: this on was for poppyonmars, my phone acting weird, sorry.
