the news never said that a lawsuit was filed against kris anyway so i'm not surprised. i think those who use koreaboo should cross check their translations with several other sites for accuracy bc i keep on seeing them mistranslating and sensationalizing their news.
can't remember where I read it but someone pointed out they're probably mistranslating it on purpose to get those views. I mean this translation was way off. problem is most exo-l's I know knew it was mistranslated but it is the anti's and non-exo fans spreading the misinformation, who are the ones who actually have negative feelings about LH and WYF (which I still don't get but w/e).

uhh, since I've never been sued I wouldn't know...but would 24hrs be long enough to receive notification that you're being sued? I mean, isn't there red tape and bureaucracy ish that has to be dealt with?
But you would have to actually have done all that and have served them before conceivably releasing a statement you've sued someone. That's how I see it, I was on the brink of suing someone before and the process is you have to serve them papers to inform them and if they reject any settlement then you process the paperwork with a court. So that's how it works in the US , I doubt it's drastically different elsewhere

Suing these companies is way easier than the rumors flying of SM trying to sue Baidu, Tencent and etc but if it's over the case of using Luhan's pictures from when he was under EXO I can see it being settled out of court with just a slap on the wrist.
if SM is filing in Shanghai court, wouldn't it be about Kans the company? and if SM want to sue Luhan regarding 'illegal activities' they have to sue him in Korean court because thats where they signed the exclusive contract with him?
Otherwise i don't see how Shanghai has jurisdiction over Luhan's contract with SM. Someone correct me if I'm wrong though
