Actress Honey Lee revealed the strict diet behind her trim figure.

For its February 4 broadcast, SBS’ “One Night of TV Entertainment” caught up with Honey Lee on the set of her commercial shoot.

In the interview, the actress shared that she puts on weight easily, “I maintain [my body] by always managing [my portions]. Whenever I eat as much as I want, I gain weight.”

Honey Lee revealed her strict, vegetable-based low-calorie diet, “These days I eat a lot of celery. I eat seaweed without chojang (a chili pepper dipping sauce), and I also like tofu.” She included potatoes, salad, nuts, and pomegranate in the list of foods she enjoys.

When asked about rice, she firmly stated, “I don’t eat it.”

Meanwhile, Honey Lee plays Wang Gun’s daughter, princess Hwang Bo Yeo Won in MBC’s new Monday-Tuesday drama “Shine or Go Crazy.”

some people's boobs are the place where they retain fat. most people either get work done or Photoshop.

i dont eat it either. rice is basically empty carbs, i choose tofu as a side for my stir fries every time. i wonder why she doesnt eat chojang tho? chili sauces are the best for diets cos theyre so flavourful with so few calories

Unless the sauces are organic or something, they're a no-no. They're usually high in sugar, sodium, etc.

Sounds sad. Then again I have a quick metabolism, I've never exercised (much) nor dieted in my life.
And I'm trying to start sports and encouraging myself to eating healthy because I know it's going to bite me in the butt and give up on me and my bad habits one day.
Any tips to slowly get healthy for a lazy person? Because I might be thin but I'm not healthy nor fit :/

If you have a quick metabolism, good for you, you should enjoy :p.

Depends on your current diet but the big change for me was to drink more water (used to only drink like 2 glasses a day -> to 8 now) manage my portions and cook some veggies recipes you like :) lost 12 kgs in 5 months.

Oops thought i was replying to another comment at first. editing.

I drink a lot, usually 10 glasses a day. I just eat mainly carbs. Like. only carbs, no veggies or fruits for days. I'm reeeally bad.
And since I never got over 52 I never thought this could be bad but I've been realizing how unhealthy I am latelu

haaah ! I love my carbs too...

Maybe you actually are not eating too much in general, that's why you do not gain weight. Well in your case it's not a weight issue. Fruits are yummy, how can you not *sadface*

Does drinking a lot of water really make a big difference? Is it just because you're full enough from the water, so you don't have as much room for food?

Not sure if it helps for weight loss (unless you do like I do and rarely drink anything but water instead of soft drinks and other nasty things) but it does help for health. Ever since I was a child it was hammered in my mind that I had to drink 1L at least a day. And now 1,5 as an adult.

I went to the US this summer, dry heat. I was drinking 1L a day, and it was not enough for the place evn tough i didn't go in the heat that much and my skin turned terrible, I was super dizzy and felt tired and weak for quite a bit after coming back to Europe. Turns out it's really easy to get dehydrated without really noticing it. Some people are just never hydrated enough.

It's the latter but really, it does make you feel better and personally I prefer warm water/tea. After spending a year in China, I have realized it helped me digest better. Maybe it's also a mental state as I feel it cleanses my stomach.

I drink 3L of water a day without even realizing . I'm not sure if it's helped keep weight off for me but I do notice that if I don't drink at least 2L I can feel my brain slowing down and fatigue

A few of my friends have used Couch 2 5K to help them start running. They seem to like it.
Maybe find a gym or something where fitness classes are included in the membership? That way you can try a few different ones and find something you like.

I'm in the same boat. I'd say that picking something you really enjoy, like a specific sport, or dance, or taking pictures while hiking... is always gonna be easier to stick with than basic gym/workouts/aerobics. If you're lazy like me, anyway.

Take a look at your diet and think about what you eat that's unhealthy. Then slowly replace the unhealthy things with healthy things. So if you drink soda, switch to diet soda and then maybe tea or water. If you hate the taste of water, try flavoured waters for a while. If it's snacks, try replacing one snack you eat regularly with something healthy. So if you eat a lot of cookies, try some fruit or crackers instead. Do it slowly though, like make one change a week, or even every month, as it'll take time to adjust.

And as other posters have said, cook more veggies with your food. If you're not keen on them, try hiding them in your meals. I used to be really picky about veg, but I started hiding them in foods I had with sauce, or cheese, or in soups, and I barely noticed that I was eating them. Good luck!

Depends on -how- lazy you are, lol.

I did what snowmog wrote above - plus googled around a lot for healthy food blogs (preferably with quick/easy recipes, especially for snack replacements, which was where most of my carbs would come from). Nothing better to get you started than good food porn that can easily be acquired IRL :P Veggies are easy enough to disguise in meals, and are pretty good with a simple dip sauce (try low-fat creme fraiche with any kind of hot spices) for a snack.

My sister, on the other hand, was way too lazy to do this kind of routinely approach, so she straight-out forbade herself from buying any kind of fast food/snacks/soda drinks for a while and would just get a bunch of veggies/fruits/mineral water (+ basic carbs, of course, but you can't only eat rice/potatoes/bread all the time) when out grocery shopping. She hates the idea of wasting food and she's too lazy to go back just to buy what she really wants, so in the end, she'd be forced to eat what she had bought. Wouldn't have worked for me, but after a while she just got used not eating so much carbs, and now she doesn't have any problem with eating healthily, lol.

Doesn't sound too appealing but probably better than idols yoyo diets. But I don't understand why she feel the need to eliminate flavour from her diet, it's not like this chilli dip has crazy amount of calories?

Seriously. I couldn't even consider a diet that was so strict as to ban chili pepper sauce.

Well she doesn't eat rice but she eats potatos so idk. But does it mean she only eats what she listed? I couldn't do a strict diet, I think I would end by hating my meals even if I enjoyed them before. Any advices to loose fat on the legs?

Date: 2015-02-06 04:07 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] kai-minami.livejournal.com
I think elliptical machines are great. To lose weight on your legs you gotta lose fat everywhere but elliptical machines are going to help tone muscles in your legs more since you're working them and you'll also lose more fat on your waist (may be just me tho). Elliptical machines>treadmills since it's less impact on your knee joint. Set the angle to the highest you can and lowest resistance, if you set it to a high resistance you'll end up bulking up your calves.
Edit: I'm not a personal trainer by any means, this is just based on experience !

After my pregnancy I couldn't exercise to loose the weight I had gain because I had a c-section, and we eat a lot of rice in my house, almost with every meal. What really worked for me was changing white rice for quinoa and black rice,I think its a great alternative.

Same, I'm always confused when I see people on Korean variety just adding rice and water to rice cooker.

The instructions have specific measurements of rice and water for it to cook properly. So I'm like not only does an appliance exist specifically to cook rice but people just fill it however they want?

She cut out rice but is still eating white bread? Or is that just a stock photo and has nothing to do with her actual diet?

I've cut out refined crabs and refined sugars since December. My pants fit better but I need to start incorporating some kind of exercise tho... wish the wether would cooperate so I can start Couch to 5K.
