idg why people insist on looking down on idol rappers but w/e. i like jimin's voice, i guess it's kind of grating but she makes it work. all hese previews really have me rooting for her lmao
how i understand it (and i might be wrong) is that the end goal is for them to create an album together. each week they get a new challenge from a producer and whoever wins it gets to make a song with said producer. this week zico is the producer so whoever wins gets to do a song with him. im not sure if theres an 'overall' winner or what they get
You're not alone. Liking her just because she is an idol in big bad khiphop is a part of the issue underground rappers have with idols. When she does something that wows me I'll root for her until then I'm just going to watch the show and root for my girl Cheetah.
yeah there's so many kpop fan comments being all WOW ITS UNFAIR THAT JIMINS IN THIS SITUATION I AM GOING TO SUPPORT HER AS MUCH AS I CAN SHE IS THE UNDERDOG when i doubt most of the people in this make much more than $20k a year
If you're going to look at it that way, then it's worth noting that AOA haven't even paid off their trainee fees yet, so Jimin is actually working for free. She is the only member of the group that received any payment (because of her work writing lyrics) and she still only made a dollar.
They're definitely becoming more popular, little by little. But I don't think they're making much money at this point so I doubt the income difference between Jimin and these girls is particularly huge. I think people are mostly rooting for her because she's known for being very friendly/having a good attitude, etc more than because she's an idol.
