Kang Ha-neul's mesmerizing eyes in upcoming movie "Empire of Lust"

Kang Ha-neul's movie "Empire of Lust" is about the troubles of a Prince amongst the debate of who will be the next prince.

Kang Ha-neul's role of Jin is only grandchild to Jeong Do-jeon and General Kim Min-jae's son. He is also the son-in-law of Lee Seong-gye. He only searches for his pleasures.

Being the husband of a prince(ss?) and son-in-law to a king, he looks like he could have tremendous power. However, the royal family and relatives are worried that he might get involved with politics. Also, his official 'interference' was banned. He couldn't have a concubine or visit gisaeng houses, so his life as a man was suppressed.

Jin was forcefully married into a position he never wanted. He fulfills his desires in all the wrong ways.

Kang Ha-neul takes off the righteous image and surprises the public this time. Jin, the corrupted son-in-law of the king, is nasty and sexy at the same time.

Kang said, "Jin has reasons for being bad. He wants to express his sensitivities and inferiority. I'm happy I can bring out the dark side of me. It was something I wanted to do".

Director Ahn Sang-hoon said, "Although Kang Ha-neul is young, he managed to express the complex a diverse sides of his character. I'm grateful to have him".

"Empire of Lust" will be released in March.

I agree. Not many actors could be that way. Domoto Tsuyoshi of KinKi Kids looks different in every of his drama roles. Not because of PS of anything but his acting is make him look like different person everytime he's in a new drama.

He's sooo amazing as an actor. But he likes doing his music so I understand why he didnt do dramas anymore. He always amazed me with his portrayal in dramas. I like how he can be so cold in one drama and so warm in his next drama. Like if you are not his fan, you wouldn't know he is the same actor. People said Kimura is a good actor which he is but his mannerism can be see in his acting so IMO, he is not in the same class like Nino or Tsuyo.

kimutaku is playing himself in all his dramas... his acting rarely has depth and imho he was just lucky to get to star in all those trendy dramas back in the day. there's no denying he has a lot of charisma and that's why people like to watch his stuff but personally i couldn't finish anything he did after pride (which is sort of a masterpiece imho, in terms of script, pace etc).
i dislike nino as a person but there's no denying he's a good actor. i don't watch his dramas because of th dislike i mentioned but probably i wouldn't complain that much about his acting if i did. the rest of arashi on the other hand... :p
