"Even me, someone who likes animals and girl groups... I'm really sick of SISTAR's Hyorin who's on 'I Live Alone' lately... They picked the wrong concept for her. I've raised a cat myself but I have a bit of hatred towards them... and seeing a woman who only praises the lord and cats all day... I'm really sick of it. There should be a limit to everything.. Limit to religion.. limit to loving animals.. I hope I don't have to see Hyorin on an MBC variety next time.."

this is from someone who understands Korean and watched the whole episode:

1. Hyorin was asked to show her home/private life and she said since she spends most time with ther cats, she named her house Cat House.

2. She only mentioned God once, when one of the I Live Alone regular cast members asked her how she would rate the important things in her life. She said 1. God, 2. Her Cats and then they asked her what about herself and her parents. So she then said, 1. God, 2. Cats, 3. Myself/Parents.

3. She didn't just talk about her cats. Hyorin has been volunteering at an animal shelter for abandoned cats and dogs for 2 or 3 years and in that episode she carried the crew along with her to bring awareness to the situation. Since that is what she is into. One of the baby cats she has, came from there. Important to note that when she visits the shelter she brings around 100 pounds of animal food (like 6 bags) that she bought out of pocket.

4. Hyorin segment was 42 minutes out of the 71 minutes of the episode so he is probably angry she had such a big cut. Also her segment was divided into three parts: in the morning when she woke up she spent time with her cats, feeding them, making her breakfast, eating with them and cleaning up. Then she volunteered and the last part she spent on a date with her mom. They went shopping and came back to her house for dinner.

tl;dr this guy probably has some personal grudge against her. Although I wouldn't put it past someone to hate on an idol because they're religious and like animals.

I can't help but be annoyed at how quick ppl get on a person for being anything more then a smidgen open with their faith it feels nowadays you can be open with anything but that (mind you Hyorin seem to only mention her faith in short passing here) that said I think this particular reporter's issue runs deeper then Hyorin's faith or love of animals...maybe dude got turned down for an interview by her sometime in the past & is holding a grudge...
