It's this about them implying he has an eating disorder? I saw some of that on tumblr but I don't know if it's the same thing.
I also can't stop saying that I'm pleasantly surprised at how natural and relaxed he's been acting during all these promotions.

the effing Soompi op ed was a mess, like, I am concerned about him dropping weight+ with him not sleeping, but Shinee have always said that they hate that people point out how skinny they are because it's hard for them to put weight on. If you have a fast metabolism and you work a lot you are going to keep weight off.

even if he had a problem health wise, some random person writing on the internet is not going to help.

As for the Soompi article, I'm so done with people using "healthy" as a code word for "attractive," whether it's about gaining or losing weight. Even though her concerns about idol culture's obsession with thinness are valid and shared by many people, she shoots herself in the foot by basing her opinions solely on the way people look (while at the same time saying pictures of food could be a set-up??? Come on girl.) and by using gross gendered language to talk about beauty standards. Bye. Celebs shouldn't have to gain or lose weight just because you don't find them attractive anymore, even if you say you're worried about their "health." You've missed the whole damn point.

I just read the article and I feel like vomiting. I'm so sick of people speculating about his health only because he's been looking more skinny lately. You can be skinny and perfectly healthy ffs, and even if he had any kind of eating disorder, the last thing you should do is shaming his body only because you don't find him ~hot~ anymore. I remember people on tumblr doing the same with Onew one time he was looking skinnier than usual.

This is soooo fucking true. I can't at them using "feminine" to describe a skinny and fragile body type. Where is written that men always have to be strong and women have to be delicate and fragile? I can't at all the bs that person spewed tbh.

god, that op-ed was totally disgusting and uncalled for. like you can be concerned for someone without belittling or shaming them and, also, health and weight are not always going to correlate. jonghyun's also very obvious incredibly conscious of his health? he's made that clear on multiple occasions, especially as of late, and he's pretty open about how he feels about his own body / what he's comfortable with which he shouldn't even be obligated to share with the world. he just... kind of does. anyway, she was talking out of her ass / being judgmental as hell. it's his life, you know?

This promotion cycle is soooo the reality I wanted. Also I need to show Iron some more love, he looked quite dapper in the Sketchbook performance and has honestly been doing the damn thing every time he performs with Jjong.

Now that I think about it standing between Iron and Jonghyun seems like a very happy place to be....

I didn't know how great Gloomy Clock was, but I listened right before his album dropped and fell in love with it. I really enjoyed his rendition of it, touches me on a personal level.

I'll get to these videos I haven't watched, and I won't bother with reading the op-ed. Don't need to read trash when so much goodness is in this post.

The author of that post on Soompi has always been writing like she thinks with her ass. Reading some of the original posts on Soompi (99% of the time I close the tab just a few sentences in lol), including hers, has killed so many brain cells that I don't go on Soompi as much anymore.

Just wanted to mention that Jonghyun kind of hinted in interviews that he has lost weight during promotions but (and I believe this was during a radio show with Sunny) he said he wants to put weight on, so he's already well aware and conscious of it. He's been working so hard I hope he gets to rest after promotions
