Prosecution Appeals Year-and-Two-Month Sentence of Ladies’ Code Manager

The prosecution on the case against Ladies’ Code’s manager has filed an appeal on the year-and-two-month sentence that was made on January 15.

According to Star News on January 26, the prosecution filed a petition for appeal on January 21, having failed to get a sentence of two years and six months, as was initially requested in the trial on January 9.

Mr. Park, who is currently being detained in Suwon, also filed for an appeal on January 16, immediately following the initial sentence. In order to mitigate the punishment, his lawyer plans to focus on reaching an agreement with the bereaved families.

Polaris Entertainment has stated, “In trying to deal with the situation with as little damage on both sides as possible, it’s hard for us [the agency] to actively intervene,” and that they would do their best in order to reach an agreement with the Ladies’ Code families.
