In the early 1980s, there were five friends who ran an illegal broadcasting station.
Back then, the world was much simpler.
It was clear what had to be defended and fought for.
The way to go forth was like a straight line.

These children now start to harbour the same dreams as their parents. A dream to become a real reporter.
But in order to become true reporters, there is a wall that they have to overcome.
This world that their parents have shaped and left behind for them.

Will these children be able to become the real reporters that their parents once dreamed of?
Will they be able to untie the knots of the past and change the world?

Who watched the last ten minutes of ep 14 over five times like I did? I may watch it again and again. brb.

Not ashamed to admit to that :D I think by now I've watched at least 10 times^^

Those last minutes... ♥ ♥ ♥ And you know it wasn't even the kiss that was my favourite!
When she found him and he was like is this a dream? (his daebak cracked me up tbh^^) and then that he's cold and she just gets into bed to hold him close... I squealed! And the way he snuggles her. He is SUCH A KID when it comes to human affection it's heartbreqaking (but not surprising considering he was alone all the time).

And then...she's like 'Don't push me away', hugs him and he lets himself cry for the first time all ep long T_T I totally lost it! And Park Min Young and Ji Chang Wook were amazing in that scene. All about that hug and him falling apart was awesome and the cherry on top was of course the kiss SHE initiated!

I hate them for killing off teacher though :( But damn Ji Chang Wook was on fire in ep 14!

Another highlight: Ahjumma going to Young Shin (entering the cafe like a boss!) and telling her where to find Jung Hoo! I already knew that ahjumma rocks but this made me lov her so much more =)

Can't wait for next week and I just hope that Jung Hoo has learned his lesson and doesn't push YS away again! Get all those hand holding, hugs and kisses JH!

I started flailing on my couch at 1 am and replayed the scene twice. I'm supposed to be a 23 year old adult. It was that good.

The fact that she was the one kissing him first was too much for me to handle. I honestly thought we would have the famous kdrame trope of Jung Hoo being an asshole pushing her away because he doesn't want to hurt her. I mean, he tried in the beginning but I'm glad she was having none of this shit.

I think Chae Young Shin is becoming one of my favorite k drama heroine this year.

Ok. *Breathe*
Omg ep 14 destroyed me. That was such an emotional roller-coaster. The portrayal of the different characters' grief was so well done. Ji Chang Wook was sooo good. The scene in the morgue... TT I've re-watched that scene as well as his confrontation with Moon-ho almost as many times as the end of the episode.
The writer's father passed away on the 18th, I can't imagine how difficult that episode must have been for her. I think that's why they got behind schedule on the filming. They only finished episode 15 today and there's still no preview. They released 2 BTS clips instead.

I watched ep 13 the day after my late mom's birthday. I would have lost my shit completely with the mother-son scene. I only had a few tears as opposed to the rivers I have been crying on and off for weeks now.

Ji Chang Wook's acting in ep 14 is oscar worthy. The ending was amazing, but OMG those first 15 minutes or so was heart wrenching in the best way possible. Jung Hoo's reactions to the death, swinging wildly between violent rage, disbelief, and despair was so real. His decision to unplug and totally check out and just surrender to complete solitude (and maybe death) until Young Shin fights manages to break through to him and he finally allows himself to cry and just grieve for a moment. I get teary just thinking about it now.

I have so much to say about every single scene in these two episodes but I'll keep it to a minimum.

The pacing always keeps me on my toes. I think, "Nah, there's no way this is gonna happen already" and then it happens and I love it.

The scene at the beginning of 14 with Ave Maria playing got to me so hard. Like I was just SO SAD about Teacher's death. I didn't even realize that JH literally did not say anything until he is talking to the corpse. Ugh and his cries make me cry.

Obviously JH/YS yes yes good stuff so I'm gonna skip over that lol. I'm happy that Min Ja basically gave her approval but seeking out YS tho. She looked very much like her Master's Sun character tho.

Oh also yay that Moon Ho has finally drawn the line between him and his brother. I like that they had the lady call him out on the fact that he only goes far enough to not get hurt. I didn't realize it until she said it but I think this is a good turning point for him.

My only complaint. ONLY complaint. Is that JH is such an ass to Dae Young. She constantly helps him out and I know it's her job but jfc he is a dick to her. I want to see like a close sibling relationship and am not getting it lol.

So many good moments this week, and I'm looking forward to the aftermath of the kiss as well as Young Shin's mom stepping up her game!
