Hyun Bin Says Acting as a Woman in ′Secret Garden′ was Easier than Acting in ′Hyde, Jekyll, Me′



Putting his past and current project against each other, Hyun Bin compared Secret Garden and Hyde, Jekyll, Me.

On January 15, SBS′ Hyde, Jekyll, Me held its press conference at the Imperial Palace Hotel in Nonhyun-dong, where Hyunbin compared acting as a man with multiple personality disorder and acting as a woman.

After acting as a woman in Secret Garden, Hyun Bin stated, "Acting as a woman was hard too. Shall I say it made me cringe? Although it was that way on the set, I have to say it was a lot more comfortable then than now."

"Back then, I had someone that I could study. I was able to see Ra Im in front of me and see certain points about her character, so it wasn′t that hard," said Hyun Bin. "But now, I think the difference is that I have to express everything based on only my imagination."

Han Ji Min Depended on Hyun Bin During an Underwater Scene for ′Hyde, Jekyll, Me′



Having filmed underwater, Han Ji Min shared her experience.

Han Ji Min attended the press conference for SBS’s Hyde, Jekyll, Me on January 15 at the Imperial Palace Hotel in Nonhyeon-dong and brought up filming underwater with Hyun Bin.

Bringing out much laughter, Han Ji Min said, “There is an underwater scene. It’s the scene that is related to Ha Na and Seo Jin’s first encounter during their childhood. Hyun Bin was part of the Marine Corps. I don’t know if that’s why but I depended on him a lot.”

She added, “It was scary and difficult to act underwater with my eyes open. And it was a scene that had to come out really beautifully, so that scene comes to my mind.”

Sung Jun Shares Why He Decided to Star in ‘Hyde, Jekyll, Me’



Sung Jun revealed the reason why he decided to act in Hyde, Jekyll, Me.

On January 15, Sung Jun attended the press conference for SBS’s Hyde, Jekyll, Me at the Imperial Palace Hotel in Nonhyeon-dong and revealed the reason why he decided to film another drama right after finishing Discovery of Romance.

“I took a break after Discovery of Romance and it wasn’t fun,” said Sung Jun. “Actually the agency didn’t hand me the scripts for this drama. They told that the drama doesn’t suit me.”

He revealed, “I received the scripts last when this drama went through a hard time with casting. I found the topic of hypnosis interesting and thought that the psychiatrist character was quite different from the others. I think that’s why I chose this drama.”

Girl’s Day Hyeri Shares that She Discusses Acting with Her Members



Girl’s Day Hyeri revealed that she talks about acting with the fellow Girl’s Day members.

Hyeri attended the press conference for SBS’s Jekyll, Hyde, Me on January 15 at the Imperial Palace Hotel in Nonhyeon-dong in Gangnam-gu and brought up the Girl’s Day members, who are promoting as actresses as well.

Hyeri said, “Everyone works on the set, so we talk to each other frequently as actresses. I think I learned from it, because we discuss acting as well as ourselves (as actresses). Maybe there are some things we can learn from each other. I’m not sure if there are, but I’ve been working hard to learn.”

She added, “Since they know me the best, they monitor my acting and tell me things like ‘You would look prettier if you did it like this,’ or ‘This is your habit’ and give me advice. We’ve been enjoying having these discussions with each other.”

Meanwhile, Jekyll, Hyde, Me is a romantic comedy about one woman who falls in love with two completely different personalities of one man. It will begin on January 21 following Pinocchio.

he was perfect and sweet and just amazing and to hear him singing life was *____*

i don't speak a word of korean, but I watched the movie and read about the play before going, but that wasn't even necessary, as haneul and the cast are such amazing actors that it kinda surpassed the language barrier and I could feel what was being transmitted (making me cry and laugh often).

the play by itself was marvelous, so good!

it's so weird how hot i found sungjoon in shut up flower boy band but outside of that he really doesn't do it for me.

the plot sounds like it's going to be a mess, and hyun bin's acting is so overrated. anyway, i hope hyeri does well.

Hyun Bin's character is basically the mean chaebol + the charming second lead. Well, kind of similar to Secret Garden, just not that extreme. If it weren't for Ha Ji Won and their amazing chemistry, I'd haver never finished it.

Never really paid attention to Han Ji Min. She's too bland imo. I like Hyeri in Seonam Girls, so I'm rooting for her.

Sung Joon should go back to cable, we already had a similar situation in Discovery of Romance.

sung joon why didn't you listen to your agency. he truly does not love himself. i hope he gets a solid TVN drama after this. he's too talented to waste away in 2nd male lead roles.

hyeri....... honestly seems like an after thought and will barely be in the show. she's filming seonom girls right now so that reinforces my belief she'll be a bit part.

im glad han ji min isn't a random idol actress they threw in there. i haven't seen her in anything but she's very pretty and looks like she fits well with hyun bin.

i don't know why hyun bin isn't loving himself and branching out of this secret garden remake. i adore him so i hope he at least does well in this.

+10000 i don't understand why his talent is being slept on? i mean as gorg as Ahn Jae Hyun is he got a lead role in Blood (which to be fair sounds awful and had hardcore casting problems) and Sung Joon is still getting bit parts/shafted in public dramas.

as much as an ass kim young kwang is, he's pretty good and was great in plus nine boys so i hope he has better sense than sung joon. he was wasted in Pinocchio but hopefully he gets a great drama this summer/spring.

it frustrates me to no end, he really needs better management! i have nothing against ahn jae hyun but his out of nowhere graduation to leading actor is baffling, sure he is handsome and charming, but he is not that good actor and only had two roles, so i'm like 'whaaat?'.

i need sung joon leading an awesome drama to raise his status!

i don't think it's sung joon's mangament, he mentioned above they didn't want him to do this drama- i honestly think sung joon needs to start loving himself and looking for solid projects. he picks so many flops and it seems they let him do w/e. someone needs to have a sit down w/ this boy and tell him it's okay to have high expectations & not to settle.

im rooting for him to be in something as incredible as sufbb but i want it to get misaeng/answer me 1997 success and get his name out there. prince sung joon truly deserves the best.
