In the early 1980s, there were five friends who ran an illegal broadcasting station.
Back then, the world was much simpler.
It was clear what had to be defended and fought for.
The way to go forth was like a straight line.
But reality destroys ideals.

Now, their children have grown up to their twenties.
One of them became an agent who steals the secrets of others at night.

In this damned world left behind by their parents,
political and societal justice are just unlucky words to them.

But there is one person who will take them forward. Thanks to him…
These children now start to harbour the same dreams as their parents. A dream to become a real reporter.
But in order to become true reporters, there is a wall that they have to overcome.
This world that their parents have shaped and left behind for them.

Will these children be able to become the real reporters that their parents once dreamed of?
Will they be able to untie the knots of the past and change the world?

*sigh* The addiction is getting worse :P I mean... I even dreamt about Healer (well Ji Chang Wook to be precise + a dash of Kill Me Heal Me^^) xD

But seriously this week was AWESOME! The date, the interlocking fingers, the hug, the food preparing/eating scene ♥ This OTP drives me crazy in the best way. It broke my heart a little when Jung Hoo was barely able to say 'Thanks for the meal' because he's just not used to it :( Poor lonely Healer! It was about time he found someone he can share a meal with. (+ I absolutely loved YS's teasing xD The onion bit was hilariously evil^^)

As much as I hate that Jung Hoo got hurt I absolutely LOVE it! Stakes got higher and I'm sure it's not long before Young Shin finally puts the pieces together (the acccidental brushing of hands..my heart skipped a beat!).

Also... Bromance, please! I want Moon Ho and Jung Hoo to put their heads together again and be awesome. There is so much potential.

I also loved how Myung Hee started to push Moon Shik away though it also makes me nervous... And what the hell happened to Jung Hoo's mom? I hope she was let go and they just took her phone but with those people you never know :/

The person at the end of the ep was Jung Hoo's teacher, right? And how great was it that Ahjumma called Young Shin? It's kinda like she gave consent :)

Seriously every week makes me love it a little more. At this point it can all go down hill and I'll still watch it to the end. I'm on dat first half high right now.

Yeah, I think its his teacher. I hope the mom is alright, and finally explains why she quasi-abandoned him (to him).

Oh dear. I just watched all 12 episodes over the last couple of days and now I don't know what to do with myself! I knew I should have waited till it was closer to the end. I hate waiting and now it's even harder because I marathoned my way through the 1st half.
I love this show so much! I love everything about it.

Welcome to the club^^ I binge watched 1-8 until I started watching live and yeah I kinda regret it as well :D But the show is just so good ♥

I watch lots of pretty Ji Chang Wook pictures, OTP scenes, fanmade MVs to ease the pain and make time fly by faster though it does not always work xD

These episodes were so amazing. I was surprised that Jung Hoo was like "alright let me just show you my face since you're right."

I'm very happy that I was right and Moon Ho obviously cares a lot about Jung Hoo as well. I love how Healer puts up a front like he doesn't care about what Moon Ho has to say when he obviously cares a lot. I was all about their relationship with these episodes. Oh and also how about when Healer and Myung Hee met omg. She made me feel so many emotions.

Also for a second I had thought that it was Young Shin that saved Healer and pushed him onto the rooftop lol until they showed her. Is it possible that his dad is still alive??? Otherwise it has to be Teacher right.

And that moment in Young Shin's house when they reach down to grab the pajamas. That scene really made my heart pound.

Same I was not expecting that at all but since Moon Ho is not out to bring him down it's awesome that he did!

I just want Jung Hoo to drop the brave facade act and accept other people's (other than Young Shin) concerns for him. Boy has been lonely way too long!
The scenes with Myung Hee were so powerful especially bc she doesn't believe that his dad killed her husband! Which was also not what I was expecting tbh.

I'm sure it's teacher bc he was on the phone with ahjumma before an I'm sure he knew that Jung Hoo would get into trouble.

I swear the show took hand holding/touching to a whole new level. If it hadn't been the live stream I'd have had to stop tight there bc I momentarily forgot to breathe^^

We should start a support group or else there will be casualties along the way :P

I love this found family stuff, and that vision of Dad and JH side by side was really sad. I'm glad that MH is taking JH under his wing...as misguided as MH is. I'm very glad that Healer snapped about how he and YS are better off without them ("What have you people done to us?").

But YS needs to find out/be told now. It's been bothering me for a few episodes the degree in which they've kept her in the dark about her own life. I'm really not okay with this whole "it's to keep you safe" bit. They're eliminating her ability to make informed decisions about HER life, and it's a bit condescending too because it implies that she doesn't know what's best for herself. Bring her into the fold boys, or so help me...

I'm annoyed by that too. But I feel like when she finds out her first reaction is going to be "I don't have birth parents (they abandoned me/tried to kill me)" RUN FOR THE HILLS. The boys think they're shielding her, but she's already experience all this shit and if she could peace-out at age 8 sh can do it as an adult too.

I would be perfectly happy watching a full hour of close ups of Jung Hoo's face while he's feeling various emotions. I've actually started watching the raws because 1) I can't stand waiting the extra day for subs to go up and 2) I'm not distracted by reading and can just focus on his face during scenes. His expressions just melt my soul -- whether it's him falling in love or punching someone in the face in fury.

Actually I did that for a few weeks and read drama beans recap while I watched raw but it wasn't good enough. What you can do is viki has eng subs for certain territories outside of the U.S. So I go to viki and use Hola on chrome to basically change my IP address to one in France, and voila you can watch with eng subs by the same night :D

This drama is everything. It makes me flutter in a way I forgot dramas could!
Can't wait to see Young Shin slowly pulling the pieces together about Bong Soo (unless the writers really make her find Bong Soo on the roof? suspense!). That hands scene was priceless.
I loved it when Myung Hee went into the room with MS and Jung Hoo and said the line "oh no, he does not look like Joon-Seok". Otherwise she would be acknowledging that Jung Hoo looked like the Healer when he broke into their house.

This show always manages to surprise me with the pace at which it moves along. Not that I'm complaining bc I love that about it

In the last discussion I mentioned how dissatisfied I am with Myung Hee, and I am so happy she has finally started questioning her husband, and is trying to protect Jung Hoo.

Moon Ho, I love you again. I am so so happy to see that he really cares for Jung Hoo.

OTP is killing me. That scene with the pajamas and the hands, I am so happy our female lead isn't clueless haha.

My feels will suffocate me till the next episode. Can't wait to see their interactions once she finds out that JH is the Healer.

-LOVE THE OTP: everything they do is adorable, everything they don't do is ADORABLE. (but the writer needs to common down with the cheese she knows because of his touch~)
-Not here for the makjak: who the fuck green-lighted making the OTP children of a "murder"/murder vicitim??? But I do lol at the wheelchair lady turn on her husband
-Sit down Elder, you boring.

All and all healer is my crack. I know he's alive and I would appreciate it if the writer would stop trying tomake me think the leads are in danger, because they're not. They never are.

Love this show! I needed a fun action show and my last one was... Cruel City? I need more of Youngshin falling for Bong Sook. And Moon Ho teasing Jung Hoo.

The date was sweet but too lonely, Healer.
