Jonghyun is a sexy man in British fashion for "Dazed & Confused"
SHINee's Jonghyun will be meeting everyone in British fashion for "Dazed & Confused".

Jonghyun showed off a sexy and masculine image during the shoot, and dazzled with his various charms. The shoot took place in an actual band rehearsal room and memories from the beginning of Jonghyun's musical career came flashing back to him as he gave an improvised performance on the base guitar for the staff on set.

In an interview for the pictorial, Jonghyun revealed the process behind the making of 'BASE'. He also touched on his collaboration with Wheesung, Zion.T, Iron, Younha, as well as where the inspiration for his lyrics comes from.

Jonghyun's full interview and pictorial for "Dazed & Confused" will be available in the magazine's February issue.







Jonghyun lost 5kg while preparing for his solo
SHINee's Jonghyun attended a recording for KBS2's "Hello Counselor", and revealed the concerns he had for his solo debut.

During the shoot, the MCs asked Jonghyun, "How is it like to go on promotions without your members?" and Jonghyun replied saying, "Since this is the first time I'm going solo after being with SHINee for 7 to 8 years, I was very nervous and concerned, but I couldn't show it."

Upon hearing his concern, MC Jung Chanwoo commented, "He was really concerned, I heard he lost five kilograms," and requested for Jonghyun to sing the song he has the most affection for. Jonghyun complied and sang a line from his title track, 'Crazy', and when he was done, Jung Chanwoo said, "You sing so well, it's like you're actually crazy." His attempt at imitating Jonghyun afterwards resulted in laughter.

In his previous appearance on the show with SHINee, Jonghyun revealed that his mother was a kindergarten principal and liked to attached the words 'handsome', 'pretty' and 'just woken up' to his name. "It seems like I've caught my mom's joy," he explained, and sent a sweet video message to his mother, "Mom, now you can call me 'the son who has just made his solo debut'."

Minho participates in first ever 'Hanstar Celebrity Basketball Festival'
SHINee’s Minho shined as an athletic idol once again– this time, as a basketball player. The 'Hanstar Celebrity Basketball Festival' for multicultural families opened on January 15th at the Yongin Indoor Stadium. This event signaled the first ever celebrity basketball tournament in Korea.

Over the course of the next ten weeks, seven teams will go head to head on the court till March 19th. A total of three basketball matches will take place every Thursday and four teams will proceed to the playoffs. The winner of the ten-week tournament will be determined by a championship game.

The tournament consists of seven teams, six of which ('Ahddi', 'Cool Kiz on the Block', 'Hoop Stars', 'Jinhon', 'Rainbow' and 'The Hole') are composed of celebrities. The seventh team, 'Women’s Press', is composed of the nation’s top female basketball players. SHINee's flaming charisma is currently taking part in the event as a strong member of team 'Ahddi'.

The first tournament took place yesterday with three matches, where Minho's team 'Ahddi' competed against 'Cool Kiz on the Block' in one match.

The team members of 'Ahddi' includes SHINee’s Minho, Ryan Kim, Lee Se Jun, Shin Yong Jae and David Oh among others.




Key makes an appearance on "SISTAR's Showtime"
On January 15th, viewers of MBCevery1 "SISTAR's Showtime" were pleasantly surprised to see SHINee's Key make an appearance on the reality-cum-variety show.

Key, along with his fellow '91-liner friend, FT Island's Jaejin, met up with SISTAR's Soyou at a cafe as she was filming the show. Upon his arrival, Key's signature honesty and wit showed itself as he made a quick remark to Soyou, "Why are you dressed so sexily?" He then proceeded to show his soft side as he offered his winter coat to Soyou before sitting down.

The reason behind Key's visit will be revealed in next week's episode of "SISTAR's Showtime" on January 22nd.

apparently that pic above the hello counselor still is actually for a shoot from the celebrity magazine. (so three jjong photoshoots coming out in the next week overall)

anyway, they straight up did him wrong in some of those pictures. like i really like a few of them (namely the one with the blue lighting, the ones with his hair slicked up and the one with the... eyebrow arching) but they def didn't think of how that bb cream + lighting would combine in the finished product.
