For some reasons I imagined this dude to have a really deep voice but I will hold judgment till the song drops .

He actually doesn't have a deep voice at all. It's very soulful. If you listen to Years & Years I just realized that Olly Alexander's voice is very similar to his.. I was wondering why I found Olly's voice very familiar then I realised it's probably because of G-Soul cover snippets I've watched the whole time.

Ok I'm yapping to something you probably don't care about. Hahaha!

oh I didn't know about him before and they were playing him up to be very soulful and for some reason that resulted in me expecting him to have a deep voice haha

oh thanks for pointing out Years & Years! i listen to them but i just realized now after you mentioned it. Although I think Olly's voice could sound more strained sometimes, i found G-Soul indeed have similarity with Olly's pitch. I hope G-Soul have proper song to showcase his voice because he can sound too nasal. Can't wait for this!

So I don't know him, but I'm intrigued a lil. I'm not sure if I like the tone of his voice. Hmm.

But I Googled, and 15 Years as a trainee? Gotdam.

If you're a big fan of any of the matinee JYP stars then I think you would be familiar with G-Soul. He has been like with JYP, forever.. probably earlier than Kwon or Sunye. He stayed in the US to finish college and make music.. but he always hangs out with the JYP stars when they're there and has quite the strong social media presence despite being in the JYP "basement". I'm so glad he's finally debuting.

I'm not familiar with or a big fan of them since I didn't give too much ATTN or thought to kpop until 2012. I read up on him on Google though; good for him, hope he does well.

As I recall JYP was pushing him at the same time as Min in the US. His mentor was R. Kelly -____-

But that boy can sing his ass off.

IC, I missed all that, I wasn't living the kpop fandom life fr...I just loved Rain.

Well if you're into R&B R.Kelly is a good mentor to have despite being a sleaze bucket.
