Tbh I don't think it's only that. Some people here are are always too eager to bash SHINee or any of their members because they seem to hate the way Omona hype them. It happened when SHINee released WSS and 4 minute released What's your name at the same time. Lots of people were like "this is way better than the trash SHINee just released" in the 4 minute post. Like ??? do you really have to bash a group to make your fave look better? It's a really petty and nasty attitude. You liked Yonghwa's song better? Okay, but I don't know why people have to belittle Jonghyun in this post. It's really unnecessary. And then these are the same people who whine when others pit their faves against each other. They were compared because they released their songs at the same time, but the style was completely different. Idc if you like one or the other more, it's personal taste after all, but I didn't see people in SHINee's post bashing 4minute at all, while I saw a lot of the opposite and it's just really unnecessary. You can praise your fave without belittle others. I find really hypocritical that people are always complaining about pitting groups/artists against each other when they're their faves but then they do exactly the same with the ones they dislike. It's the same that saying 2 negative comments about their faves = why so much hate?!!, but when they bash others it's totally okay.
I do think that in general it's not as much the fans but more an extremely annoying habit of the k-media to pit against each other any acts having a comeback/debut the same month. (girlgroup, or boygroup, or solo face-off). I guess they think it's more of a clickbait and will generate much more comments/fights than individual articles. In december they were already doing the Yonghwa vs Jonghyun and Lizzy vs Amber articles just because they all had early year solo debuts. Which is stupid because they're all pursuing such different styles but oh well.
In general I haven't seen many people doing unnecessary comparisons and I'm happy for it to stay that way. I really want to appreciate both amazing debuts without bitterly entering "who is better" fights that will only ruin the fun.

there is literally one comment about liking it more then jonghyun's release so? you need to chill tbh. Aint nobody attacking your fave. He released material very close to another male singer so its only natural for people to talk about which they liked more.

omg i love this! and i wasnt expecting to? like...AT ALL? cause i'm honestly not a fan? but the song is so chill his vocals r TOTALLY on point and it has a lovely melody and the MV is fun and cute without being OTT.
and i never found yonghwa good-looking until this MV so u kno they're doing SOMETHING right.
Loved the MV. Loved the song. The chorus is so catchy??, and I really like how it's cheeky/exasperated but good-natured. Can't wait for the rest of the songs.
I liked it! It fits yonghwa's voice perfectly. The MV was fun too, but then I started to think of the song as being used for a credit card commercial LOL.
i adore this. yonghwa has such a nice voice bless, i never payed much attention to him or cnblue in general but i should now. this is such a cute fun mv and his voice is heavenly
plus the rapping is laid back in a nice way. i like how yonghwa and ydg say mileage, it makes them sound stoned/drunk in a cute way
