Plot:
The drama depicts the last six months of Park Jung Hwan's life, one of the prosecutors working on anti-corruption department. Before the brain tumor takes his life, he is determined to expose the frauds and misconducts committed by his superior, Lee Tae Joon. He also struggles to make amends with his ex-wife Shin Ha Kyung and their daughter Ye Rin, for all his indifferent attitudes in the past.

Lee Tae Joon (Jo Jae Kyun) is the Public Prosecutor General, a jovial man with a thick Kyungsangdo accent who hums trot songs all day long. He’s got the outward appearance and personality of a gregarious village chief, while hiding an ice-cold disposition underneath. He’s famous for stripping countless prosecutors of their jobs, and has a long history of backdoor illegal activity, which he naturally keeps under wraps. Shin Ha-kyung (Kim A-joong) is a prosecutor who has refused extremely high-paying jobs at large firms, and instead fights for justice.

Park Jung-Hwan (Kim Rae-Won) is the chief of the anti-corruption investigation team for the Supreme Prosecutors' Office. To get to his position, he has made compromises on achieving justice. Park Jung-Hwan then learns that he has a malignant brain tumor and does not have much time to left. To end his life without regrets, he points a gun at corrupt Public Prosecutor General Lee Tae-Joon (Cho Jae-Hyun). Park Jung-Hwan’s ex-wife Shin Ha-Gyung (Kim A-Joong), who is also a prosecutor, knows about Park Jung-Hwan’s situation and helps him. (Asianwiki)

The drama will be about prosecutors high-up in the supreme court — the hero is a chief investigative prosecutor named Park Jeong-hwan (Kim Rae-won) who finds out he has six months left to live, and on the other side is a prosecutor general Lee Tae-joon (Jo Jae-Kyun) who’s neck-deep in corruption. The drama follows the last six months of the hero’s life after he finds out he’s dying, and is described as “the story of a man who throws his final punch at the world, as he says farewell to this life.(Dramabeans)

Is it worth watching? In a sense that there's more prosecuting action than melodrama? I'm bitter because I started watching "Pride and Prejudice" and kinda like it, but female lead story is a mess and I'm not into it when I just want some police procedural.

LMAO OP

Anyway, I was about to give up on Ha Gyung until the last scene happened. Like yes finally, she's slowly not idolizing Minister Yoon anymore. Assistant Prosecutor Jung is my hero though I wonder if he'll continue to support her when he'll be pressured too much.

Prosecutor Jung didn't let his family issues affect his integrity and career, even when his son was arrested. He was like nah, so what? I'm not my son but unfortunately Jung Hwan pressured him with fabricating more charges against his son. Whereas Minister Yoon was like nooooo, nobody should know this or I'll have to step down. Gurl, if you really want a "clean office", you start with your family. Then you use the plea bargain just an excuse for the greater good. I don't think you should get rid of corruption with corruption.

Ho Sung basically nailed it, it's the choice between the less bad and bad.

Jung Hwan, oh man. When is he finally going to cut ties with Tae Joon? I thought after he got Ha Gyung out of jail, he'd finally start his revenge but he's still contemplating about his impending death. I admit this is a hard pillow to swallow but did he really believe that the man, who put your ex-wife in jail when he thought you were dead, although you have a kindergarten kid, would you give your meds back? I expect somebody like him to get demerol easily from another source.

I kind of dislike Jung Hwan's sister and mother. I'd be pissed off, too if your future brother-in-law could be Kang Ha Neul but instead it's an old ex-doctor with a kid.
His mom is one of those typical moms, who believes her son is perfect and doesn't know or ignores the fact, that he's an arrogant, corrupt asshole. Or used to be.
The ex-daughter-in-law of course sucks and oh look a new woman, who's younger, prettier and richer. She should marry my son.
