i haven't been big on hello venus because i remember them always being more cutesy (i believe i'm thinking of the same group) but this seems like something i can dance too. i've heard it goes far off their usual concepts though, is that right?

Since splitting from Pledis, they've only done sexy concepts. It's weird for them but it seems to be Fantagio's focus atm. It's why they and Pledis split up.

The original Wiggle Wiggle dance practice video and the "schoolgirl" version of Sticky Sticky were skeezy as hell, but this is actually not bad at all??? I wonder if Pleidis got the memo re: cutting girls' heads out of the shot. It makes such a big difference when the object of the gaze is allowed to gaze back.

Anyway I'm enjoying this round of promotions for Hello Venus (and I never thought I'd say that). A butt shot here and there isn't much when a girl group can go for the fit/exercised look instead of the skinny/waif look. And the song is good, at least in its prerecorded version.
