Hwang Jung Eum Fought with Boyfriend Kim Yong Jun and Hasn’t Been Contacting Him
Hwang Jung Eum brought out laughter by making a confession about Kim Yong Jun, her boyfriend of nine years.
Hwang Jung Eum attended the press conference for MBC’s upcoming drama Kill Me Heal Me on January 5 at the MBC building in Sangam and was asked if her boyfriend Kim Yong Jun is jealous about her acting opposite Ji Sung. Hwang Jung Eum answered, “I fought with him.”
Hwang Jung Eum said, “So I’m depressed. I haven’t been contacting him,” making everyone burst out laughing. Upon seeing the reporters laughing, Hwang Jung Eum said, “It’s true, why are you laughing? I’m depressed.”
About why she fought with Kim Yong Jun, Hwang Jung Eum explained, “I was busy from filming and caught a cold so I asked him to make a reservation because I wanted to eat a delicious dinner but he didn’t make a reservation, so I told him to forget it,” and added, “I guess this is how it is once you date for nine years. Really.”
Meanwhile, Kill Me Heal Me is a romantic drama about a third generation heir to a conglomerate ‘Cha Do Hyun’ (Ji Sung) who suffers from dissociative identity disorder overcoming his trauma by meeting with his personal psychiatrist ‘Oh Ri Jin,’ (Hwang Jung Eum). It will be written by writer Jin Soo Wan who wrote the screenplay for KBS 2TV’s Capital Scandal and MBC’s The Sun and the Moon and directed by Kim Jin Man PD, who produced MBC’s Island, Scandal: A Shocking and Wrongful Incident and more.
It is set to begin on January 7.
Lee Bo Young is Not Jealous of Ji Sung Acting Out Romance with Hwang Jung Eum
Ji Sung revealed that his wife Lee Bo Young is not jealous at all about him acting out romance with Hwang Jung Eum.
On January 5, Ji Sung attended the press conference for MBC’s Kill Me Heal Me at the MBC building in Sangam and brought up the fact that he will be acting opposite Hwang Jung Eum again, following KBS 2TV’s Secret last year.
He said, “I met a good friend (Hwang Jung Eum) through Secret. That friend was with me and helped me out. So last winter, I didn’t have a hard time and the drama set felt warm.”
Ji Sung said, “I had a wish to do a romantic comedy with her but that chance came quickly. When I look at Hwang Jung Eum, although it has been only one year, it makes me think about time and relationship between people. When I first started filming, I left a message for Hwang Jung Eum. On the Internet, ‘Ji Sung Hwang Jung Eum’ comes up a lot. When I search, there are many pictures of us together and we did many projects together. We even filmed a Hi Mart commercial together and will be working on Kill Me Heal Me too."
Then Ji Sung said, “When I think about each of our lives, I think she is a meaningful and a precious partner of mine. It’s hard to work together once but we’ll be working together three times. Because I have that kind of heart, I have no problem acting naturally and can focus well easily. I started with a good feeling. I don’t know how many people will love and watch our drama, but I will feel satisfied and accept it and I hope that I will continue to have the courage that I have now and finish the drama well.”
When asked if his wife Lee Bo Young is jealous about his romance with Hwang Jung Eum, Ji Sung answered, “She’s not jealous at all. There’s nothing like that.”

What Ji Sung says about Hwang Jung Eum is really nice and thoughtful. Loving their friendships as costars! Secret was crazy lol This drama made me like those two actors (I was pretty much indifferent about them until this).
