In the early 1980s, there were five friends who ran an illegal broadcasting station.
Back then, the world was much simpler.
It was clear what had to be defended and fought for.
The way to go forth was like a straight line.
But reality destroys ideals.
Time teaches one about betrayal and compromise.
Now, their children have grown up to their twenties.
One of them became an agent who steals the secrets of others at night.
Another is a paparazzi who digs for information about others behind their backs.
In this damned world left behind by their parents,
political and societal justice are just unlucky words to them.
But there is one person who will take them forward. Thanks to him…
These children now start to harbour the same dreams as their parents. A dream to become a real reporter.
But in order to become true reporters, there is a wall that they have to overcome.
This world that their parents have shaped and left behind for them.
Will these children be able to become the real reporters that their parents once dreamed of?
Will they be able to untie the knots of the past and change the world?

Date: 2015-01-02 04:23 pm (UTC)I love Youngshin so much. The writer does such a great job keeping the dramatic and romantic tension high, I just asldd;lfkw;flkwef;lk. Like, I'm dying to see how the mystery unfolds, and dying to see the romance develop simultaneously. Which doesn't happen often for me. Usually I care more about one aspect than the other, but in this drama the mystery, the past, the future, all the characters and how they connect to one another are all so compelling.
Also, I love that Moonshik is not just some super villain without the ability to feel guilt. Makes him more human, and I love when the bad guys are portrayed with human flaws.
Ji Chang Wook is so handsome I melt.

Date: 2015-01-03 11:58 pm (UTC)I have started loving PMY since her drama with Chunnie, and though her character pissed me off in Dr.Kim, I still continued to like her. And JCW is soooo amazing! I discovered him in Empress Ki, and was completely mesmerised by him and his character TaHwan. *_*
It's been a long time since I was so hooked on a drama. The plot is awesome, the acting is good, and the chemistry between PMY and JCW is no joke.
I knew that JCW had a new drama because of his IG and I wanted to check it out sometime in the near future, but your discussion posts made me very curious so I watched all the episodes today. Absolutely loved it!!!
And the rooftop scene! OMG!!! I was squealing and clapping like crazy: DO IT! DO IT! KYAAAA! My poor neighbours. Just so you understand it's almost midnight here. LOL

I actually wanted to watch from the start because of Yoo Ji Tae and Park Min Young and to finally check out Ji Chang Wook (he was so cute on Running Man^^) but then decided against it. You know to keep my list of dramas I watch small.... Well here I am fully on board with this show and I will catch up over the weekend :)
