Hong Jong Hyun and Jin Se Yeon star in romantic comedy Family of Cops

Jin will play the daughter in a family of police officers, who falls in love with Hong Jong-hyun, the son of a notorious clan of criminals.

The movie will follow the two's desperate antics as they struggle to obtain the blessing to wed from both families. Behind the camera will be Kim Jin-young, who has a few comedy films (Tone-Deaf Clinic, Dangerous Meeting) and shows (Flower Grandpa Investigation Unit, Full House Take 2) under his belt.

"I became familiar with the characters, and their love for each other is so great that they cannot stand to be apart"; said Jin Se Yeon. "Their love will give a certain enchantment to the movie. I hope the movie will resonate with the audience." The film is set for release 2015

this is old news but i figured omona needs some more actor/drama/film posts. honestly i cant say im super pumped for this since JSY isn't exactly acclaimed for her talent &I think HJH is still at a point where he can't really hold his own w/out a really strong support he can play off on but maybe the PD will work magic & get good performances out of both of them

And she's been getting major roles ever since. With her acting skills. How. Does she have a powerful agency behind her? Then again, lots of young actresses with better acting chops from big agencies don't exactly guarantee lead roles off the bat so why her? The girl is pretty but not exceptionally pretty so...

i think in korea ppl invest first then cast from what i see of how casting works for dramas, idk if it works that way from films but i think so. ppl invest in the story/writing & the director attached then actors come after a production company has already picked it up.

it really depends, people pull out their investment all the time, dramas and films. there was the recent case with kill me heal me when a lot of china investment got pulled out after lee seung gi dropped and there was a controversy with kim jung eun (the actress) and her agency because her agency didn't tell her how small of a role she actually had until the day of the script reading because they were afraid she was gonna pull out and the investment get pulled.
some dramas and films only get picked up after the actors confirm their casting as well.

she picked up a weekend drama (i think it was weekend, definitely not primetime) as a lead role but turns out the agency she was parting with (this was her last project before she left) lied to her about the amount of screen time she would get - they wrote that the drama is about the three daughters but the focus of the show was really on the third one, which is played by nam bora (who's part of the same agency as her) so kim jung eun (and subsequently kim soo ro who's said he only picked up the show because of her) dropped out. the agency tried some media play to pin it on her and her supposed irresponsibility and kim jung eun let out the whole thing.

ia, in a perfect world han groo & byun yo han would have starred in this. they both have proven their acting cops plus they're cute as hell. park seo joon & kim so eun would have been cute and wonderful as well. maybe even sooyoung & kim young kwang (even though he's a douche he's wonderful in plus nine boys)

I try to deny my love for KYK but i have to admit his my problematic fav, he's so shitty i can't have others problematic favs. it's such a shame he's a major ass bcuz he's so charming, talented and really hot plus like 6'3.

I have faith we'll see Han Groo & Byun Yohan is something eventually they're both up and coming actors & seeing as everyone in my ot5 (lee soohyuk, kim young kwang, hong jonghyun, kim woobin, bang sungjoon) have worked in projects i've dreamed of/with ppl i want; leads me to believe it will happen.

srsly, han groo/byun yo han and park seojoon/kim so eun would be amazing and I NEED THIS TO HAPPEN.


I really like hong jong hyun - he's so handsome - but he still has poor performances as an actor. I remember watching him on that sooyoung's drama and it was SO HARD. I can only thing that their agencies are really giving everything to them and have some influency on the business because I can't understand a production decision to put those two as a leading couple.

i adore HJH but i mean other than White Christmas which was like his first project he's been really lackluster/boring. He was decent in My Lovely Heels (which was a mini mini drama w/ Kara's Seungyeon). idk if he was good in Mama & i haven't seen him in anything else other than Style Log & the bff show w/ Young Kwang in Australia.

same. ppl say it's bcuz her family is rich/powerful or bcuz she has a sponser. either way it's not through talent or looks. Park Shin Hye is also horrible but she has a massive fan base & everyone adores her who works with her. She's okay in some projects, she's fine in Pinnochio rn and she was good in Flower Boy Next Door.

People said she's a happy person and the one who could light up the atmosphere of the set but its not enough for me since I want to watch good drama with good acting. I dont mind if she's acting in weekend or daily dramas but not prime time dramas. Plus, she has luck to act with all upcoming actors like Joo Won, Lee Jong Suk or Ji Chang Wook. So, its actually hard for me to enjoy my fave actors when she's around..

Surprisingly, Han Ga In's acting didnt distract me like some of the people claimed. I guess because I thought her character supposed to be stoic and expressionless in TMTETS. And she can cry too so its actually didnt distract me tbh.

However, So Hee (the actress who replaced Yoo Jung in Secret Door) distract me soooo much with her acting. The fact that she could act in the same screen with Han Suk Kyu is beyond me. Her character's facial expressions confuse me too in Marriage Without Dating.

If I'm not mistaken, the girl from Night Watchman won for new best actress at MBC Drama Awards yesterday. You must be mad. Are you talking about the same actress here?
