On a side note, I really, really don't get the korean age system. I've tried, though, really hard, and I don't even need it explained to me all over again. It just makes no sense to me that a baby turns 2 years old a few days after they're born!!

I think in the Korean system, you're a year old when you're born and you gain another year on new year.So this little thing is already 2 years old.
If it helps, the age system confuses most of my korean friends too lol

The best way I remember is that for that entire year Jan-Dec you are the age you will be turning that year (international age) +1 year.

So even though I only turned 24 (international) last week, since January I've been considered 25 in Korean age.

Apparently Koreans count the time the baby is in the mother's stomach as one whole year, which is why every Korean is one year older than their international age. Everyone in Korea also turns a year older on the New Year, so I think since this baby was born so close to the New Year, he is considered 2 years old.

I am Yongguk. Yongguk is me. It's also hilarious because that's how look at Gukkie, 99.9% of the time. I was literally holding my face as I scrolled down the post....lol. What a cute widdle baby. Dongwoo looks like he's warm and snuggly holding the precious. Makes me want kids...or to he in his arms, both work for me.
