Meeting seven years before as rookie actors, Kim Bum and Yoo Yeon Seok showed how much they′ve grown in the latest pictorial for fashion magazine Cosmopolitan.
In a recent interview with the magazine, Kim Bum and Yoo Yeon Seok talked about how they first met when they were both rookie actors, being signed to the then newly-formed King Kong Entertainment.
"When I debuted in Old Boy, I didn′t have an agency. I went to the army and signed with the agency I′m in right now. I met Bum there for the first time. That′s already seven years ago," explained Yoo Yeon Seok.
Kim Bum added, "Before, Yeon Seok hyung, [Lee] Kwang Soo hyung, and I used to meet often for drinks. But these days, we′re all so busy it′s hard to get together."
On things that changed about Kim Bum, Yoo Yeon Seok shared, "When I first met him, I knew he was a kid with a lot of thoughts, and he′s gotten more sophisticated. Back then, I thought he was in a rush to become an adult so that he could be more mature, but now he′s just naturally aging."
On Yoo Yeon Seok, Kim Bum said, "He still deals with people with a smiling face and takes good care of them. He′s very eager to protect the people that he feels much affection for. If anything changed about him, it′s that he′s aged and has gotten a lot more time to relax."
Thinking about what they′ll be like seven years later, both Kim Bum and Yoo Yeon Seok predicted that they would be married by then.
The two actors were asked to describe the kind of woman they should each marry.
For Kim Bum, Yoo Yeon Seok replied, "Since he′s a person who likes people and gets lonely when no one′s around, he′ll match well with a woman who′ll take good care of him and keep him company."
Kim Bum said for Yoo Yeon Seok, "He′s a very family-oriented man, so he′ll most definitely be good to his wife. So I think the most important thing is how much they like each other."
The full interview and pictorial will be included in the January issue.
