Kim Woo Bin’s 2014 Income Estimated at 8.6 Billion Won from Commercials and Tours Alone

Kim Woo Bin’s income for 2014 from commercials alone is estimated to be a whopping 8.6 billion won (approx. 7.8 million USD).

In tvN’s “List Reveal 2014,” aired on December 22, Kim Woo Bin was nominated in sixth place for the “stars that hit jackpot after hard work” special.

Despite the expensive prices of Korean stars’ fan meeting tickets in China and Taiwan, often reaching 140,000 won (approx. 130 USD), all of Kim Woo Bin’s tickets for his seven fan meetings were sold out within five minutes. When calculating the ticket income from the 12,700 people who came to the fan meetings, Kim Woo Bin received 1.6 billion won (approx. 1.5 million USD) from the tickets alone.

This isn’t the only example of Kim Woo Bin’s astronomic income due to his growing popularity. He has starred in at least 10 commercials in Korea and at least five overseas. While he receives around 400 million won (approx. 360,000 USD) per commercial, his paycheck overseas reaches well over 600 million won (540,000 USD) per commercial, making his income from those commercials alone – combining both Korean and Chinese endorsements – around 7 billion won (approx. 6.3 million USD) in total.

Additionally, Kim Woo Bin is anticipating another wave of popularity after the release of the movie “The Technicians,” in which he plays the role of a skilled cracksman.

I'm hoping he will start taking some good roles, because I'm done with Heirs type of dramas. The only projects of his I've enjoyed were WC & School 2013, I'm praying for something of quality.
On the other hand, anyone watched the last he was on Running Man? He was so sassy at the end, I loved it. The game was awesome.

I was so amused by his appearance. I know it's like his 4th/5th one now so it's always nice when guests feel comfortable with the cast. He and Kwang Soo were hilarious and him being all cocky at the end was *very very* attractive.

I've considered starting School 2013...is it good? I feel like it will suck me in but if it's crack with a crap ending IDK if I want to invest all of that emotional energy.

Also, is it horrible that I only recognize B.I. when he's wearing a hat? He looks completely different to me without one on. I blame my 400,000 viewings of "Born Hater".

No, noo :D I'm so glad someone commented on RM (and the rest, always welcomed) because I was dying for a discussion post. Should we initiate that here now, since omona_watch is pretty much dead?

I feel the same about him x Kwang Soo, they got along so good, after that episode I wished he was a regular. I love RM spy episodes, treasure hunting etc. It makes me wanna do something like that in real life, and it does keep me on the edge of my seat, cause the game can always go south for my faves. Omg, yes. I had to repeat that part, it was so hilarious and attractive at the same time, and the way they filmed it was epic hahaha. It was such a good closure of the game. And after that, him giving Haha a piece of the puzzle and going ''hyung, that's why you'll never win''. I died haha.

School 2013 was really good. It had really good back stories to it's characters, and tons of bromance. It will definitely suck you in. The acting was pretty good for the most part, too. Nothing shitty about the ending, so it's a green light.

I know the previous poster of the Running Man Omona discussion posts commented recently (like within the past month) about getting her wifi fixed so I didn't want to step on any toes by initiating posts...but I miss the discussion so much because there have been some amazing episodes recently. For Christmas I convinced my (large) family to do a Running Man-esque game day. I've planned everything so I am hoping when we do it this Saturday that it will be a success! Some may think that my fangirling has gone a bit too far, but I think it's going to be a great time. :D

OH! I also loved this moment between HaHa and Gary...



(Gary has been looking great the past few months on RM...like IDK if he stopped eating Ramen or found a girlfriend but he's looking great!)


Yay! I have a few days next week I can dedicate to marathoning a K-Drama so I will put that at the top of my list! ♥

Recently it was in a CF with Mino about down jackets (or something like that) and EPIK HIGH/Bobby/BI/Mino's appearance this past week on SM's Lucky Boys or whatever. I barely recognized him!

I have a large group of friends in one of the organizations I'm involved it, so RM-esque game would be a great team building idea.
Idk, I fell like everyone is posting everything so I wouldn't take it by heart really. I miss the discussions, if no one starts posting, I might. About the tags in the episode, I was wondering why didn't they just rip theirs. That way the enemies couldn't out them. For a second there, I thought Haha wouldn't give him his lol.

It really isn't that difficult to plan the games (I've called it "Reindeer Games" when it's actually a secret "Grinch who stole Christmas" game. *evil laugh*) The WORST part has been trying to calm people from feeling like they're going to be injured/convince them to play. I feel like shouting, "It's going to be FUN so just go along with it you party poopers!"
