Netizens put up fancam videos on Pann of Hyeri mocking Dongwoon when he was saying an awards speech by copying his facial expression and speech in a mocking manner.

I get that her apology was somewhat unfortunate and that some people can take her teasing during the speech to heart but I think everyone's scrutinising this too much (both knets and NB).
Maybe I should start feeling bad for teasing my biases' quirks and habits?

I mean, yeah, she did bad by apologising in such a gimmicky way but some people need to take the chill pill.

Are these gayo shows even about xmas spirit at all anymore? First Mino, now Hyeri. Might as well cancel them. One wrong move and they are crucified. slow clap for the xmas tolerance, love and understanding that these netz are showing.

the only moments i remember starlights being petulant about Girls Day (mostly hyeri.. Okay only hyeri) was

All those were starlights being childish and clingy fans, not hyeri being rude so i have no idea what she did.

She's the trend now, and has a very polarizing personality so it's going to be quite a journey for her. I hope her company manages her popularity better though. Their overexposure and the recent career moves they've been making have been less than ideal.

Felt bad she had to apologize. She's damned either way, so i guess apologizing was the lesser of two evils. I doubt beast/dongwoon cares

I felt like her apology was warranted. Even if she thinks her awards speeches are bullshit, I'm pretty sure she wouldn't appreciate someone mocking them. Like, it's one thing if someone can't control their face (sideeye or boredom) but it's another thing entirely to actively mock it (esp. in such a public place where she knows there are cameras).

That said, I still think she's cute, and this isn't the worst thing ever by far.

To me it seems like the reaction is one part annoyance on behalf of Beast (sunbae-hoobae respect is a big deal no matter how you swing it) and one part her Real Men aegyo fame bubble bursting.
