The weight loss is seriously so unsettling. He's even slimmer than he was before he bulked up in late 2011/early 2012. I know he tends to slim down when schedules don't require him to work out as much, but he hasn't been this thin since, like, debut. It's amazing that he still has weight to lose at this point. I don't really know what to think about it tbh.

He doesn't look sickly though, just slimmer.

I was going to say that Jonghyun looks slightly more healthy here than he's been looking lately, but maybe that's me ._.

yeah. jjong's def lost weight (and he's emphasized on it / mentioned it on his show / made a comment about how he gave up on exercising hardcore ala sherlock-ish era because he felt his body was disproportional) but i don't think he looks unhealthy either. i mean, i feel uncomfortable when people try to policy his body anyway (because it's his body obviously, not anyone else's and he's been thinner? like think juliette era and around debut) and i get people being worried about idols but idk. maybe i just feel this way because i so commonly see people saying that jjong looks "gross" now.

but, yeah, i run a jjong blog on tumblr and i... let my curiosity get the best of me often / read tags on reblogged posts and i've lost track of the number of times i've seen people say he looks gross or that he's not attractive / handsome anymore since his weight loss.

That's so fucked up. I admit I prefered his 2012/early 2013 looks but saying someone is gross only because they're skinny is disgusting. People usually talk a lot about fat-shaming but shaming a person for being skinny and say they look sick and gross is horrible too, especially because some people are just naturally skinny and it's not their fault to be like that. I've noticed they do that with Taemin a lot, especially when his shirtless pics were released and everyone was like "ew, so skinny and gross". It's not his fault to be like that. Being skinny doesn't necessarily mean you're ill even tho I admit Jjong has been looking pale/tired lately, but it's maybe a combination of the hectic schedule and his insomnia.

Yeah Jjong has been thin for a while. I didn't think to much about until l saw that recent group pic of them after their concert. His face was the thinnest I've ever seen. I just hope he's okay.
