2NE1 Reportedly to Perform at SBS Gayo Daejun, Park Bom’s Appearance Undecided

2NE1 will be performing at this year’s SBS Gayo Daejun, according to a report by Star News.

On December 10, an anonymous 2NE1 affiliate stated to Star News that the girl group is preparing for their Gayo Daejun performance. “They [2NE1] are currently discussing the details of their performance with the producers.”

However, it seems that member Park Bom’s appearance with the rest of her members is still undecided, even “unlikely,” in the words Star News’ source, as a result of Park Bom’s drug scandal from earlier this year regarding an incident from 2010 in which Park Bom was stopped while bringing amphetamines into Korea. Following the scandal, the 2NE1 member left the variety show “Roommate.”

but 2014 f(x) performed without Sulli multiple times and even won and received awards without her. It wasn't until Sulli messed up again that SM halted F(x)'s performances and activities and put the blame all on Sulli for that. I don't think there's any solidarity in that, I think it's SM punishing F(x) to in turn punish Sulli.

I know Bom is hurt and her reputation is kind of ruined, but she needs to be strong and pull through because if not , then she might as well retire or leave the group. Yeah, whether you like it or not, Bom is a part of 2ne1. There would be no Bom without 2ne1 as where would be no 2ne1 without Bom.

But police still isn't reopening the case despite the scrutiny, which suggests that there may not have been much to go on in the first place, and may have been an honest mistake. /kanyeshrug

I'm truly irritated at all of these people that speak as if they have personal experience with the case, like they're the only ones that know all of the facts and understand everything that was involved, or are professionals on the matter. It WAS investigated, the only reason it became a huge deal was basically because the media took it and ran, and netizens still won't let it go.
2NE1, whether people like it or not, exists with Bom as a member and always has. I can't see the girls wanting to perform without her, and as far as I know, they never have. I don't think I've ever seen a performance of theirs where a member was missing (granted I could have just missed it) and all of the hate she gets, I feel largely because of her plastic surgery, seems pretty unwarranted.
Reminds me of why I've stopped playing mmorpgs. Ugh.
