Henry Pleads with Sasaeng Fans to Let Him Sleep and Stop Calling at Night

Super Junior-M’s Henry recently made a plea to sasaeng fans who call him at night when he’s trying to get some rest.

Early in the morning on December 10, Henry uploaded on his personal Twitter a series of photos of himself in bed with a message for fans that read, “Good night. Sweet dreams,” letting his followers know that he was ready for bed.

In response to his post, many fans tweeted “Good night” or “Sweet dreams.” However, it appears that other sasaeng fans were not so considerate and called Henry throughout the night.

Hours after his first post, Henry took to his Twitter once again to write another message: “ㅠㅠ I want to sleep ㅠㅠ Please..,it’s too much that you keep calling at dawn. That isn’t love. I’m begging you, please ㅠㅠㅠㅠ.”

To this, followers and fans who read the post commented, “It’s been really hard on Henry,” “Turn off the phone for a few hours and get some sleep,” and “You can turn off the phone so as not to be disturbed.”

Unfortunately, the issue of sasaeng fans has continued to remain a prevalent problem when it comes to celebrities’ private lives. Many stars are forced to endure the actions of those who intrude on their personal time and seek out not only their phone numbers but other private information, as well.

Currently, Henry is touring with the rest of the Super Junior members as part of the Super Show 6, which recently ended its three-day concert in Osaka, and is scheduled to hold a concert in Fukuoka, Japan on December 20th.

Jesus, poor baby should just turn his phone off but then it puts him at an inconvenience if his manager has to reach him or there's an emergency.Sasaengs ruin everything

I never understood what goes through these people's minds to think it's okay to do the things they do.

There are those do not disturb features on phones nowadays where he can set whose calls go through at night. It would probably be wise for him to start using that. Poor kid.

if nothing else, i'm glad he told them that that isn't love. Also he shouldn't have to turn off his phone (which probably has his wake-up alarm set on it), people should know how to behave.

I still can't fathom how sasaengs are still considered "fans" and just a regular part of fame. It's stalking and it's sick. I mean fans are ridiculous, but sasaengs go above and beyond silly infatuation. Wanting to know your faves shoe size and looking it up online vs. stalking his manager to find his dorm so you can sneak into his closet and steal a pair of shoes

This is just pure nastiness. To steal someone's sleep when they really need it (he probably doesn't get anywhere near enough even without these calls) is a direct attack on their health and well-being :(((
