omonatheydidChrome Family artists (Crayon Pop, K-Much, Bob Girls, Zan Zan) released their own Christmas carol December 3. Check out the fun MV and BTS photos below (shout out to the helmet on the christmas tree)! The song rose to #45 on MelOn's real-time chart before dropping off, so congrats to Chrome Family!

While promoting their debut mini, Stawberry Milk appeared on the November 29 episode of Star King (along with fellow idol twins Tasty) to fit with the episodes theme of twins battling! Check out their unsubbed cut below.
As previously reported, Crayon Pop signed to Japanese label Pony Canyon in preperation for their official Japanese debut. November 19 saw the release of their special mini titled "POP! POP! POP!" and the lead song "Bbyong Song" (composed by Shin Jihoon, one half of the Dumb&Dumber duo behind Crayon Pop classics Saturday Night, Dancing Queen, & Bing Bing). Listen to it below (and ignore the heinous album cover)!!
Bonus: Gummi takes the lead on this song, disproving the commonly held belief that she can't sing (thanks to her minimal parts in Bba3, Lonely Christmas, and Uh-ee). #solo4gummi2k15
After being released, the album entered the Oricon Daily Chart at #24 and eventually ranked #3 on the list of Top 10 K-Pop Records released by Tower Records Japan for the 3rd week of November. They were beaten only by Lee Junki's "EXHALE" and the Japanese release of Super Junior Kyuhyun's solo debut "At Gwanghwamun."
Now, while Crayon Pop are undoubtedly the most busy Chrome artist, that doesn't mean the others are just doing nothing!
K-Much and Bob Girls host the Chrome Special Magazine, Chrome People! So far only two episodes have been released (and of them, only one subbed) and you can check them both out below.

In addition, fans of Chrome Family can finally have something to look forward to during the festival season this year! All Chrome artists (Crayon Pop/Strawberry Milk, K-Much, Bob Girls, Zan Zan) are confirmed to appear during the first day of the newly created SBS Awards Festival (SAF for short, read about it here)! The official schedule is below; you can find Chrome Family under Star Time on December 20 and their segment will air from 13:00 - 14:00 (1:00PM - 2:00PM) KST.
Unfortunately, with all that's going on there is still sad news to share.
After noticing his absence in the Christmas carol teasers, fans began speculating as to the whereabouts of K-Much's Loki and whether he was still a member of the group. The removal of his profile from the official Chrome Ent. website further fueled the fans' worries until it was finally announced in the official Cafe that he had left the group. Read the official statement below!
Current belief is that the group's long-awaited comeback is currently slated for January and has been postponed due to Loki's personal issues. Now that he is officially removed from the group, K-Much's activities are moving ahead just in time for their first anniversary! While it's sad that Loki chose to remove himself from the group, it's nice that he still has a good relationship with his Chrome family and we all cheer for him to succeed in his next stage of life!

Today, I’ve come to deliver sad news.
Though he hasn’t been with us for a long time, from now on K-Much’s member Loki will halt activities as a member of K-Much.
After discussing it with Loki for a long time, we will respect the decision that he has made.
To be delivering this sad news to fans who want to see K-Much’s Loki, our hearts are heavy as well.
Nonetheless, Chrome Ent., together with yourself and the other K-Much members, agree to abide by the decision made so that Loki may pursue his dreams (and) we ask for the understanding of the many fans who care about Loki.
Even though (he) is no longer a Chrome Ent. artist, as he continues to work hard wherever his dreams take him, Chrome Ent. will cheer for Loki, no, Kim Moobin.

Date: 2014-12-07 08:10 am (UTC)looking back though, it's really no surprise that this ended up happening. he deleted his kmuch twitter and remade a new one using his real name that none of the other members follow and he doesn't follow any of them on. when he finally joined insta, he chose his real name again instead of his stage name like the others and has almost always posted things about himself or his own life rather than what was going on with the other members/group like bornus/ato/kyu do :/ he's probably been thinking about leaving for a few months now but kmuch still had obligations so he didn't have a chance until they completely stopped promoting their debut mini.....
((also np!! ^^ im in the middle of transitioning fykm to a chrome family blog and i realized that a post hadn't been made here about any of these things so i figured why not :p))
