The controversy surrounding 2PM's leader Park Jaebeom never seems to never end. After his MySpace incident, he had resigned from the group and returned home to Seattle on the 8th.

Jaebeom's agency, JYP Entertainment, responded to this incident saying, "We ask that everyone will respect his decision".
Recently, however, Hottests are throwing back arguments to JYPE, saying 'the agency did not do enough to protect their singer (Jaebeom)' and blaming the whole controversy on the agency.

Yesterday, 60 2PM fan clubs worldwide made a joint statement saying, "We will not accept the actions of JYPE. We are angry that JYPE did not fulfill their duty as Jaebeom's agents to make an effort to protect him".

They also stated, "We all reject a 2PM without Jaebeom. 2PM fans to this day have been supporting a group of members including Park Jaebeom. All fan unions have agreed and concluded that we will boycott all events without Jaebeom. Anything to do with 2PM without Jaebeom, we will boycott".

Hottests continued, "We have decided to boycott the Dream Concert on 9th October, and all music released under JYP's name", and concluded, "All these actions will continue until Jaebeom is returned to his rightful position as a leader"

Ok, HOTTEST. Very empathetic.
Because this is exactly what the remaining 6 guys want to experience right now.

Personally, I do not like this AT ALL.

Why punish the other members just to "protect" Jay?

yeah, it makes no fucking sense to punish the rest of them tbqh. a hearty eye-roll to the people who support this~

So in other words, there'll be no one at Dream Concert, what with SME boycott and now JYPE boycott too.

Go for it, K-music industry!

Way to go, what a message to give to the other guys. "You're nothing without Jay and we don't want to acknowledge you without him".
But I actually do see the point behind the boycotting too.

I just realised that the Dream Concert is on my birthday.
I'm getting a nice little drama as a birthday present?

(If I can have a wish, bring back Jay)

=/ shouldn't they just respect his decision? especially since is apparently HIS OWN decision. Sure the statement seemed to come out late, but I don't really blame JYPE in this at all.
Seriously feel bad for the other members.

There seem to be something more shady than this, like people are saying JYPE's board of directors pushed Jaebeom to one corner until he said he will leave. 2pm-online has the reasons for boycott. Might wanna go see, fellow VIP. I still love your journal :)

I think 2PM Hottest should now focus on supporting the fellow 2PM members. It's unfair on them, they're just as upset if not more than all of us and yet it seems like they're going to have to suffer more from this. And in public, they have no where to hide..

iawtcsfm.

it was jae's decision to leave and honestly i'm sure he doesn't want to come back right now, maybe farther down the road but not now. trying to force him by hurting his brothers is kind of selfish. they need our support the most right now.

as much as we all love jaebeum there are 6 other people in 2pm, this isn't fair to them at all nor the other artists under jyp who have done nothing wrong. what's more it was his decision to leave, them thinking they can bully jyp into bringing him back is almost as bad as those who bullied him into leaving in the first place

yes, he is an entertainer, but you can't simply push and pull him around. you want him to come back? fine, but he has to be the one to decide to do so

I still support the group but it does seem as if JYPE didn't do enough to back Jay. Obviously I don't know what went on behind the scenes but JYP's statement just screamed "fuck bitches, get money" to me. I mean what the hell, you emphasize how you understand his decision and that he is a child but don't make any real effort to keep this "child" from throwing away his career??? WTF! All of this "support his decision" just sounds like bullshit that his employer is using to cover that they actually wanted him out of the group since it was easier than growing a pair of balls and standing up to the media.

-sorry for my ranting..its the end of the fiscal year and I hate life right now.

They aren't doing this for 2PM. They are doing this for the fans themselves.

They're just going to hurt all 7 members more... one way or the other.

Yes exactly my words. Eventhough I understand that they want to take action and keep the door open for jay...but totally disregarding how the other boys feel or how jay feels? it's not "Jay and 2PM" it's just 2PM. i love jay to pieces but he isn't the only member.... There are 7 members. If they hear that they are "Nothing" (which basically means worthless in my opinion) they'd be even more hurt.
I'm not supporting the boycott. but as i can't do anything against it i really really hope this ends well...
It's just my personal opinion...

UGH.

If Jay is going to come back at all,
wouldn't it be better for him to come back for himself
not because he feels like he owes it to someone else?

I feel like they're being incredibly selfish.

why make the other 2pm boys suffer
and give jay pressure
thats the last thing he needs right now

and it's not like jyp and the other boys WANTED him to leave
its jay's decision afterall.

i don't think this would make anything better. i understand how they feel but i just don't get why do they have to make 2PM (including Jay of course) to suffer even more.

i think it is best for Hottest to support the 6 boys. they all miss their leader too, just like us. and i'm sure the boys are suffering more than we are.

but what about the other members? i like jaebeom and all but it was his mistake, blown totally out of proportion, but still his words. the others shouldn't be suffering for it

and when he said that, i don't think he was condoning this kind of behavior

I don't agree with their boycott. As far as I knew, JYP already protected Jay especially his DREAM as much as they could and they also respect Jay's decision to leave.

Anyway, hopefully, their won't be large empty seats from last minute cancelled, it would bring shame to the club and their idols.
