Actor Gong Yoo revealed an outdoor pictorial in which he opened up a day in his life to show a glimpse into those 24 hours when he’s not in front of the camera.

The actor recently took part in a photo shoot that displays the real lifestyle of a city man in his 30s (LOL, okay.) for “Discovery Expedition.”

In one of the photos, Gong Yoo can be seen starting his day off by enjoying a cup of coffee at a café, with a book open in front of him. In other cuts, you can see the actor spending time at Han River, as he carries a longboard in his arms, as well as other cuts that capture the everyday activities that fans normally don’t have an opportunity to see.

It is said that the outfits worn in the pictorial are clothes from his own personal wardrobe that he enjoys wearing on a day-to-day basis. He went for a natural and relaxed look, fitting for the overall concept of the photo shoot.

OP did you watch The Suspect? As a dedicated Gong Yoo stan I was wondering what is your opinion about it.

Yes I did and I really enjoyed it! It is similar to the Bourne movies, but the fight scenes were IN.CRE.DI.BLE!!!! Seriously. I think it is definitely worth watching, especially if you're a Gong Yoo fan. The relationships between some of the characters did not become clear to me until the end from what I remember, but that may have been a loss in translation more than the fault of the script or explanation. For an action flick though, I really liked it!

What about his role? I haven't watched many dramas/films with Gong Yoo but I felt that he was miscasted. I enjoyed a lot the fighting scenes and the story but i think that there are other korean actors who are born for action movies. Maybe it was the character/his lines, i think that the script didn't do him justice. I enjoy his performance more in drama/romance movies because he shows emotion with his face and body language.

I can see that...but I am not sure if it is the script or a miscast since far as drama acting I felt he was great in "Silenced". However, since it was a project he personally advocated for I think his passion for the movie bled into his acting. (If that makes any sense...) That movie [Silenced] is when my downright adoration of him solidified in my heart. *fangirl tear* It will be interesting to see him in his next action movie (the one about the zombie train to Busan) because I think it will answer the questions about a miscast or a script problem.

Silenced was his first movie I watched. A year later I watched Coffee Prince and I didn't know it was the same guy till my friend pointed it out. He was great in it, it's probably my favorite of his performances and he earned my respect because of his determination to make a movie for this issue to become known. I read your comment about the second movie in this post that's why I asked about The Suspect. I'll definitely watch this one too and hope he has a better role.

Me too! I was shocked when I figured out the first few episodes in that he was the actor in Silenced! (Which makes me want to watch Silenced but at the same time I don't want two because I'll be an emotional basket case for the next week.)
