Date: 2014-11-30 07:55 pm (UTC)The sauna scene cracked me up.
Both episodes made me cry, especially when Geu-rae didn't get a contract. That part just broke my heart. And executive director is so shady.
P.S.: Is anyone bothered by Suk-yool's fringe?

Date: 2014-11-30 09:13 pm (UTC)I'm probably going to rewatch episode 14. I thought it was just great having those four in the elevator being....normal? Carefree is a better word. It was a genuinely funny moment and I liked it. Naked Baekgi. Naked Manager Kang. And then them drinking together? I have quite the thing for Manager Kang, he is gorgeous. I finally understood Baekgi's feelings, as to why he would react so negatively when Geurae achieved something. That scene was a good moment for them two.
Department head Ma is a shit head. Going as far as prodding Yeongyi's forehead and about to throw coffee on her? I know that it might be acceptable in Korean workplace, but to me that's assault and grounds for meeting my bat...lol. Poor Sookyeol. He gets on my nerves, but he is going through it at work. He can't catch a break...lol.
Those early, sad feelings in the beginning came back again for this episode. With Geurae only being a contract worker, it really got to me. Because he finally began to feel like he was belonging somewhere. He was getting comfortable, and he doesn't want to lose that. His feelings of loneliness puts me all the way into my emotions. Slightly OT, but I HATE, absolutely DESPISE the idea of having to brag to your family about your kids because said family members have so much to say about YOUR kids.
Yep. This is why I don't fuck with that CEO.

Date: 2014-12-01 01:27 am (UTC)manager kang can GET IT omg he dont even KNO. that bathhouse scene brought my thirst level up above average. baek ki was sufficiently simultaneously cute and hilariously awkward. i think these past few episodes kinda exposed baek ki as someone who is insecure---not as snobby as i originally thought.
is it bad that i kinda really like sook yeol? i especially like it when he's being supportive of the other members of the OT4 in his own meddling kind of way. the fact that baek ki knew he could call him for a favor speaks volumes to me. i get the sense baek ki doesn't trust ANYONE and he might not necessarily trust sook yeol but there's def an understanding of camaraderie. i feel bad for his boss situation tho---the stuff that works for the others just doesn't work for him!
also YES to all the "back to the beginning" feels. my god siwan just SELLS gue rae for me. i am literally picking up whatever he's putting down in those moments. he's SO GOOD at bringing gue rae's sadness to life without making it so OTT that u can't relate.

Date: 2014-12-01 03:22 am (UTC)I don't hate Sookyeol like before, his character has definitely grown on me. So when I say he gets on my nerves, it's sort of in a pesky, younger brother kind of manner. I hadn't even thought of Baekgi's call to him like that, but it's definitely true. I see this among all four of them, actually. They're coworkers, yes, but there is a closeness between all of them that they're not seeing just yet. It's like they don't know they're friends, but they are.
I agree with this last point. Siwan definitely conveys those emotions without being over the top. Usually, I'm rolling my eyes or what have you, but he is very good at making me see myself and relate.

Date: 2014-12-01 02:24 am (UTC)I'm gonna suffer from a major withdrawal once this drama ends it's like you become so involved with every character and it just reels you in. Manager Kang is so good looking I'm glad other people feel the same way too! And I'm starting to like baekki's character alot and sukyool is just crazy I love him. And I thought I was watching a melodrama because I cried seeing geurae in so much sadness :(
