I had a new experience last night at the cinema in Finland. Usually at the movies you're surrounded by the warm salty/buttery smell of popcorn but freakin everyone around me was eating salmiakki and the smell was so overwhelming that it was making me queasy :(
I like a bit of licorice from time to time, I don't even mind salmiakki when it's mixed with some kind of sweeter filling but jfc. Nordic countries, WHY???

That was pretty funny. It's also funny that whenever someone posts a thing from EYK they preface it as " I know it's EYK but...". I dunno, but it seems rude to post EYK's stuff and insult them at the same time. (Not just you, but everyone who does that). Anyway, I quite enjoyed this clip, and would love to get the wasabi kitkat as a cruel prank gift. Contemplating buying it in 3...2..1

well, they kind of deserve it. they're rude for making fun of idols for speaking "engrish" when they've lived in korea for several years and still don't know how to speak korean fluently.

it's just a way of saying "these people suck but they have a video that you might like".

I tried the wasabi Kit Kat a while ago and didn't think it was that bad? The flavor was a bit weird though and didn't taste like wasabi at all. I wish the US got some of the fun Kit Kat flavors. :(

Regular licorice already makes me gag; just imagining salted licorice makes me queasy.

Salmiakki is really good. idk what they're on about. Course, I also grew up eating it, which probably helps. (fun fact about moi: I love salmiakki but hate reg. black licorice)

I'm the same. I crave salmiakki regularly, but I can't stand plain black liquorice.
I think salmiakki is like seaweed: you have to try it several times before you start to like it.

I tried salmiakki when I lived in Finland with my aunt for a few months.The first time a kid offered me some, I slapped him because I thought he was trying to poison me (Poor Aatami.) I did develop a taste for it but when I tried it again recently, I couldn't swallow it.

I recently got to try Blueberry Hazelnut pringles and it was the strangest food experience I've had in a while

(Also, I just Wiki'd Pringles to see what other weird flavors they've released and I learned that the guy who invented the Pringles packaging had some of his cremated remains buried in a can, lol.)

Honestly I've tried wasabi Kit Kat before and it isn't spicy AT ALL. The taste is a little soapy for some reason, but nothing to be making faces over.

My roommate's boyfriend went to Japan a few months ago and brought home an assortment of Kit-Kat bars in different flavors for us. Green Tea, Wasabi, Chili, Strawberry, all yummy! I loved the Chili Kit-Kat! It's made of dark chocolate then with the chili in it. Yummy.

I'll never understand how it tastes so bad to some people that they can't swallow it.. There's sugar in it too and it tastes nice~ Liquorice ice cream is heavenly. ^^ Salmiakki doesn't taste moldy like some cheese, that's when I hit the wall, when something tastes like it should've been thrown out months ago.

Long time since I last watched their videos. AND I can't believe this, it's like their bad korean after 5 years of living there is getting not better but worse?? HOW.

EYK are really at their best when talking about food, not that this is stunning example. I don't even remember to check for "kpop music monday" vids anymore.

Apparently ppl hate them 'cuz they asked their fans to donate money to start their EYK studio...But I fail to understand why that is a big deal...if there are ppl who like them and are willing to "donate," then yeah, whatever floats their boat.

And some hate them 'cuz of Music Monday, I guess...but I think that is ridiculous...I mean, it's THEIR review so they can say whatever they want but i guess overprotective fans don't like anything negative said about their faves at all. I guess that's why ppl like yt ppl like kpopspazz? since they only spazz over their oppas and unnies...

i tried salted licorice before called "djungelvrål" a long time ago because i remember the a*teens and play talking a lot about it. it was the worst thing i've tasted besides vegemite. lol my grandma loves black licorice though. she might like salmiakki.
