Sistar’s Hyorin Reveals Her Dislike of Dieting in Interview with Bnt International

Sistar‘s main vocal Hyorin recently had a photo shoot and an interview with Bnt International.

In the photo shoot, Hyorin can be seen sporting various winter street wear, showing off her great figure.

During the interview with the magazine, Hyorin revealed that she does not like dieting. “Singing high notes makes my body shiver because it’s that difficult. If I started starving myself to have a good figure, I won’t be able to withstand it.” She added that she sings from her stomach, so she needs to eat very well.

As a tip to maintain a great figure, Hyorin suggested cutting down on snacks. “Even if you stop eating snacks, you will start losing weight. I hate working out.”

She was also very honest in the interview, as she exclaimed, “I want to get a nose job but my company won’t let me.”

I wonder if getting a nose job will affect her voice but she looks great tbh :c didn't she say she wanted to get her eyes done before but starship said no as well?

And after today's Music Core performance I really wish stylists would stop giving her a fringe and put her hair up more often. She looks 10000000000x better with her hair away from her face

Personally I'd never tinker with my nose if I had a voice as good and well trained as hers. New nose means probably having to re-learn breathing techniques and there's always a risk that the operation could damage the voice.

Also I like her looks. She's not what Korea would call conventionally pretty but that's what I like about her (and Sistar in general).

Singers breathe more through their mouth than their nose. It'd be incredibly difficult to get air into your diaphragm quickly breathing mostly through your nose. But, a nose job can sometimes make a huge difference in the tonal quality of a voice. Making it more nasal, less nasal, thinner, fuller, etc.

hyorin is one of the few korean celebrities I believe about not dieting. Although, 'dieting' in Korea seems to equal starvation so I'm sure she still eats super healthy...she just doesn't 'diet' Dasom style.

Aside from that, Hyorin may not be conventionally pretty but I think she's pretty gorgeous anyways. She shines on stage. Her body is on point too so no to dieting! And I really don't see why she'd need a nose job when she has the kind of nose that people get nose jobs for ._.
