Jessica's 'Blanc & Eclare' is opening pop-up store in Malaysia

Jessica's brand 'Blanc & Eclare' has announced that they are opening their first pop-up store in Malaysia.

Through the brand's various SNS account, a notice is posted, "BLANC & ECLARE is POPping up in Malaysia this December. #respecco Respec.co." Apparently, 'Blanc & Eclare' is teaming up with another eyewear brand Respec.co, to appeal to  Malaysian market.

"POP-UP Store - Exclusive event

100 limited pairs of BLANC & ECLARE with ONLY 5 pairs of sunglasses personalised signature by Founder and Head Designer, Jessica Jung. Exclusively available at the RESPEC Pop-Up Store. T&C apply."

Sica's design for her sunglasses might not be super original, but I prefer hers over some so-called "fancy" designer glasses, which can't be worn in public. I've also shown her sunglasses to my friends and only one of them didn't like the design, so yeah...

Nah, the location is fine, it's smack in the middle of Bukit Bintang where tourists usually go to shop. But Lot 10 is one of the oldest malls there with not many stores that appeal to younger crowds. They tried to revive it by bringing in H&M but when you have Pavilion just down the road, it kinda pales in comparison. At least that's what I think, heh.

Maybe because it is a popup, they had to find a vacant storefront they didn't have to lease for a longer term and that's what was available?

I still think she's overshooting by not trying to make something at Jessica Simpson price points before she tries for higher-end items, but good luck to her.

If respec.co's price list is anything to go by, a pair of her sunglasses is gonna cost us about a thousand bucks. Pretty steep. But yeah, I hope she does well.

lol I used to go to lot10 only for H&M tho... but H&M is everywhere now so. but I might check it out one day! anyway I hope a lot of her Malaysian stans are rich tho bcs I am very poor and overpriced sunglasses are just... I never buy any of it that are over rm20 so yeaa. I hope she does well.

i like jessica, and i think it's great she's doing her own thing, but her sunglasses are too expensive. RM800??? Eh I'd rather buy those cheap ones they sell in Chinatown, but that's 'coz I'm a cheapskate.
