“Misaeng” Star Im Si Wan Signs Eight Endorsement Deals

ZE:A‘s Im Si Wan has become one of the most sought-after faces in the advertising industry.

The actor/idol, who is currently starring on the extremely popular tvN drama “Misaeng,” recently signed eight modeling contracts with a wide range of companies. In the upcoming months, Im Si Wan will be seen advertising clothing, cars, banking, communication services, outdoor clothing, beverages, groceries, and paper products.

The star is currently worth more than ever before, and he is said to be in the same range as actor Kim Woo Bin. After earning praise for his performance on “The Attorney” and “Triangle,” Im Si Wan surpassed the two hundred million won (approximately $200,000 USD) line, and his value has only increased thanks to the success of “Misaeng.”

A representative of one of the firms explained, “His clean image is extremely charming. Also, his character on ‘Misaeng’ attracts sympathy from the public. The fact that he has no anti-fans is a positive and important factor for advertisers,” and added, “His value has gone up a lot. In comparison to Kim Woo Bin, Im Si Wan is paid slightly less, but in some cases, he might be paid even more than Kim Woo Bin.”

His agency Star Empire revealed, “He has signed multiple advertising contracts. We are receiving a lot offers, and both Im Si Wan and the company are extremely grateful. We will show you good acting in return.”

I think it is? I know that walking and being outdoors is very popular but i'm not sure about actual camping. its amazing to me how literally every drama in existence has managed to insert camping gear into its storyline somehow lol

this is purely from a business perspective. i call ze:a a flop band bcuz they're not successful and they don't make much or any money. idc what happens to the others other than maybe hyungsik but he's loaded so im not worried.

i never said he was leaving ze:a but eventually when his contract comes up he probably will. in fact they probably all will. i just don't see anyone being successful other than siwan and maybe hyungsik.

I am so okay with this. I've only watched one episode of Misaeng but fell in love with it immediately. Sadly finding 90 minutes of spare time to plunk in front of the TV with holidays, a two and a half year old and a two week old is hard.

star empire really screwed up with ze:a and it irks me constantly to no end. they have so many good tracks that are just shoved back for iffy comeback songs, and then the promotions... ugh no I'm not even gonna get started.

I'm glad Siwan's doing well. I just hope he actually gets to see some of this cash he's earning and that SE don't leech it all off him.

He's still a member of ZE:A, you know. :| But nonetheless, I'm srsly happy for him, I'm just afraid if he'll actually see a fair quantity of the money all of that is giving, because, well, Star Empire. :|

Siwan is more revelant than ze:a why would they associate a new breakout actor with a flop idol group? people already dislike idol actors so the fact he's doing so well most people don't even know he's in an idol group and it's in everyone's best intention to keep it that way.

And same. I hope he actually gets to see that money and I think he will because the members of ze:a have paided off their training costs they just don't make money. but siwan makes money so i think he'll be good
