Girls’ Day‘s Hyeri apologizes to her fans after her scheduled fan signing event in Busan, South Korea had to be cancelled due to overcrowding.

On November 23rd, Hyeri was scheduled to participate in a fan signing event for “Hungry App,” as part of the ongoing “G-Star 2014″ summit held in BEXCO, Busan, South Korea. However, the event eventually had to be cancelled within 3 minutes as the number of people surged into the venue all at once. Organizers of the event considered the health and safety of the attendees and decided to the cancel the fan signing due to overcrowding.

Immediately after the cancellation, Hyeri update her Instagram account and apologised to fans saying, “I hope no one is hurt,” “Thank you and Sorry” and“Saddened,” expressing her regret on the sudden cancellation.

so happy for hyeri! her popularity is really on the rise this year after real men. hopefully this means girl's day in general will be more popular now :DDDDD

Going to fansigns of a solo girl (I went for Hyuna) made me so uncomfortable.
There were quite a few highschool girls but out of the many guys that went a lot of them treated Hyuna like she was below them? It was really scary to see how entitled and dominant they acted idk made me feel so uncomfortable

while boy groups are the ones with the female fans.

the uncles fans and adequately aged boys are the stepping stones of fame for girl groups. Especially if they aren't from a top tier company.

I'm always pleased to hear fanaccounts/see fantakens of Spica and 9muses performances and fansigns/fanmeets because their fanbase is overwhelmingly female.. it's funny to me esp for 9m because SE was clearly trying to target a male audience with their model-dol image but ended up attracting soooo many younger female fans instead

jesus those photos are terrifying. and i know it's par for the course but it makes me uncomfortable that it's sooo many dudes and just her.. though i guess that's just me looking at these photos and knowing it was just her this giant group of "surging" guys was heading toward... idk.

but gosh she's so cute ;^; and i'm so glad she's rising the ranks tbh!!!! can't wait 'til gsd's next comeback to see how it may effect them.
