plot:
Jang Geu-Rae (later played by Siwan) played the board game go since he was a child. Playing the game was everything to him, but he failed to become a professional go player. Now he is thrown out into the real world. By an acquaintance’s recommendation, Jang Geu-Rae is able to begin to work at Wonin International as an intern.
On his first day, Jang Geu-Rae meets his boss Oh Sang-Sik (Lee Sung-Min). Jang Geu-Rae struggles to adapt working at a company.

I think yeoungyi and her old boss had feelings for each other and she confessed and had to leave hence the awkwardness and seokyool is becoming one of my fave characters

Lol I had the same thought process. I also think she confessed and then that's why she had to quit her previous job (maybe he's married or something?? lol, i hope that wasn't the case though)

maybe he is married, she just act so different when working for him, like she just start to open up , and I dont know if they talk they have was because he cares or is worried she will snap on him.

Nope. The PD(?) said the opening of the drama was a clue to the ending.

Knowing that the proposal will be accepted (somehow?) is the only thing that kept me from hyperventilating.

Somehow this drama has restored my faith in humanity. I've worked in an office setting my whole career, and I have encountered nearly every one of the characters in the drama (thankfully, no misogynistic coworkers). Given, my own current office politics, I'm a bit rejuvenated to enter the office tomorrow (hold me).

I'm amazed how spot on the characters and workplace dynamics are. I can't believe how much I'm rooting for every character--even the Resources manager and temp sales team head, the latter I know will never change.

I just got caught up. Waiting a week for the new eps will be painful :(

i liked episode 11 more than 12 but still this drama continues to somehow avoid all the pitfalls of poor plot and character development. even when it's slow we're still getting awesome moments when we're getting to kno the characters. much of the story takes place in the office but i LOVE those little moments we get when they go home and have to interact with their families.

the newbies remain hella cute and i'm so happy that they're working together in their own grudging way.

The Executive Director is trying to setup Senior Manager Oh to fail right? ugh. i just don't trust him.

Something about Manager Cheon rubs me the wrong way. Not sure what it is just yet. I was surprised to see that the Executive Director didn't react the way Manager Cheon wanted him to react. He also gave them an okay to proceed. The Executive Director knows something everyone else doesn't, I'm sure of it. I mean....Manager Park was in Jordan in the beginning....

The audacity of Resource Team to talk about business ethics when they are ONE, sexist and disgusting pigs, and TWO, they hid the B/L and blamed on Manager Oh's team. I stood up and clapped for Assistant Manager Kim when he checked the absolute fuck out of their team for that. How dare he even speak about business ethics and manners and forget what his team did? Point one finger and you'll have three more looking right back at you.

I fell over at Siwan's little run. I'm confused at Yeongyi's situation. I thought the guy was her father, but that doesn't make sense considering what was shown this episode. I can't wait for next week's episodes.

Not sure what Exec Director's up to... and pfft. Ahn Young Yi is the best. Although as the ace of the rookies, I wish we could see her grow in terms of her work too, like Geu Rae and Baek Gi. She's going through the tougher journey of gaining the respect of her prejudiced seniors, but I'd like to see her challenge herself in work as well.

It's been a while but once again I have a show to follow 6 nights a week, between this, Pinocchio, and Pride and Prejudice.

About Young Yi.

Seems like she had close relationship with her ex-boss. He taught and trusted her and she either quit because:

1) he is married and she grew feelings for him, but he only sees her like a pupil, daughter

2) She is ashamed to face him, maybe because he trusted her some money/investment, and her dad maybe stole it, making her quit and pay for it until now (that is why she was so happy checking out her money account, and that is why she has a strained relationship with her dad)

3) He gave and trusted her a big case, and she ruined it, making her quit

she also called her old boss a 'hypocrite' in one of her flashbacks... i wonder how that all ties in. Im super curious about what went down since they've been stringing this along from the beginning!

I like ep 11 alot more, i reveled in that proud little smirk youngyi's sunbae did when she was speaking in russian and leaving the other douchebag team members speechless heh. Glad she's lightening up now too, i guess she feels good that she's being acknowledged by her senior now instead of being so blatantly mistreated. Her little jokes were so cute!

shamefully i must admit i first thought that youngyi's troubled relationship with her old boss from samjung was because of like sexual harassment issues (since she looked super uncomfortable around him and the looks he sent her rubbed me the wrong way lol) but looking at the flashback she was the one who had feelings for him so it must have been different. Also i know alot of people are confused thinking that he was her father but the prologues show that her father is from the military.

his rants are absolutely hilarious xD his senior is competely insufferable and stubborn lol i really dont know how he's going to over come this! We shall wait and see!

Also dont know what to think of sales team 3's new edition... he's the same guy from the opening right? the one helping geurae catch mr.park? Ep 12 has been tense!
