After School’s Lizzy Talks About the Person Who Revealed Her Past High School Photo

On the November 15 broadcast of KBS’ variety program “The Human Condition,” After School member Lizzy opened up about the circulation of her past photo during the ‘Cheap Living’ special of the show.

On this day, the other cast members brought up Lizzy’s past photo that recently regained attention online. In regard to the photo, Lizzy confessed, “I think I know who posted it,” to which the others asked, “Do you keep in contact with that person?” The After School member shared, “[The person] occasionally contacted me and asked if I’m doing well, but not anymore.”

Lizzy then opened up about being hurt following the spread of her high school photo, explaining, “Many people said they lost interest [after seeing it]. Since it’s really different from my current face.” However, she was still able to laugh about it with the cast members and even revealed it on broadcast once again.

I don't think she looks THAT different. I would say about 90% of the human population look terrible in their yearbook photos, including me.

Not American so we don't have a yearbook. However I always looked okay in individual pictures taken at school -expect maybe for 1 or 2 years-. But my senior high school class picture is tragic. The guy sitting next to me was trying to make me laugh and I was starting to crack up when the photographer took the photo. So while everybody looks more or less fresh and smiling, I'm there looking constipated.
Obviously someone uploaded the pic on FB, and this is someone I was not so close with so I didn't have them as friends, but then my best friend decided it was a good idea to tag me >.<
It was in 2007/08, I'm still butthurt about it

Yearbooks should be done in my country as well. We have the "class pictures" but it's just your class standing or sitting in front of the camera. It would be so funny to have a proper yearbook with the quotes and all !
(at least in my high school we dressed up for the pictures, so I have one with everyone dressing as crazy scientists)

On a more serious note, she still looks like herself. She just grew up, changed her hair (that hairstyle... don't ever go back to this, girl) and started using make up.

Praise god that my first yearbook picture was taken in sixth grade. I look a mes but at least the bowl cuts of year prior were avoided.I rmr in my 9th grade photo my shirt slipped off one shoulder and the photog wouldn't let me retake it so i had to deal with nice bra comments for ages.
Her hair was terrible but she looked fine.most idols looked terrible in yearbook picture.

I looked terrible from middle school through highschool lol. I have photos that I wish I could burn and erase them from the memories of anyone who has seen them

In terms of high school yearbooks, I think I personally looked great in grades 11 and 12 ... DEFINITELY not 9 and 10 though. //shudder

Elementary photos = mostly yuck (minus grade 2 and younger) but at the same, I'm not entirely ashamed of them because they serve as a reminder of what I looked like back then, and how my mom would style me back then, and ... it's nice to see how different I am now from then, and how long of a way I've come! :)

It's a shame that whoever spread Lizzy's photo felt the need to do so though, like as a feeble attempt to bring down her reputation or pride or what-have-you because they can't stand to see her succeed. And I think Lizzy's photo is adorable! I don't even think her hair is that atrocious, but maybe I'm biased because my hair was like 1000x worse than hers when I was her age at the time.
