SurgE - Heaven
If you liked AKMU's "Time and Fallen Leaves," you'll probably like SurgE's "Heaven." It's an acoustic autumny ballad with strummy guitars and male-female harmonies so good, you won't mind that the whole video is just the band sitting outside (even if the seasonal scenery is very appropriate.)
Sugar Donut - Beautiful Lie
The adorably named Sugar Donut bring us another super low-budget but awfully clever video for their song "Beautiful Lie" featuring what I assume are the band members playing virtual versions of their instruments on tablets. Their sound is somewhat reminiscent of Oasis and the melody reminded me a bit of Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds' "If I Had a Gun."
Loro's - W.A.N.D.Y. (album)
This came out last month but there wasn't a listening post for it so I'm including it here. Loro's have a broody, atmospheric sound perfect for those upcoming grey winter days, and they include at least one female vocalist and instruments such as cello and keyboard along with the standard guitar-bass-drum setup, which pretty much guarantees at least a listen from me.
Lee Jang Hyuk - vol. 3 (album)
Another overlooked album release, this time from September. The bassline for the opening track "칼집" is a dead ringer for the Cranberries' "Zombie" and Jang Hyuk's voice reminds me of Sawao Yamanaka from The Pillows on the more 90s-influenced rock tracks, but the rest of the album is low-key and acoustic for the most part. A great rainy day record.
He also appears to have a song on Spotify:
Choi Woo In - I Wish/Daily Routine
"I Wish" could easily be at home on a Roy Kim album; gorgeous emotional vocals and country-esque guitars. I wish there were lyric translations floating around somewhere. Couldn't find much info about him but he does have a Twitter.

Dreamy, 80s-inspired synthpop? SIGN ME UP. If you like Neon Bunny, you'll like this.
What are your faves, Omona? Anything I missed?
