Kim Gura′s Son Kim Dong Hyun Signs with Brand New Music

After talking about wanting to be a hip-hop artist, Kim Dong Hyun has signed with Brand New Music to become a trainee.

During Brand New Music′s branding performance, Brand New Day, Brand New′s Brand New held at V-Hall in Hongdae on November 8, Kim Dong Hyun made a surprise appearance during Kanto′s stage, performing with the rapper and revealing that he has officially become a trainee under Brand New Music.

"Dong Hyun came into the company officially about a month ago, and we′ve planned to showcase Dong Hyun′s practice on the stage during the Brand New Day concert," explained Brand New Music. "That′s how he participated as the sub-rapper for Kangto′s What You Want. Although it was his first stage as a rapper, Dong Hyun wasn′t nervous and completed the prepared performance well."

"It′s true that we′re in preparation for Dong Hyun′s official debut stage at the Brand New Music′s family concert Brand New Year 2014, which will be held on December 7, but nothing has been confirmed. We plan on letting him debut when he′s close to perfect as a musician, so everything′s still up in the air."

Lastly, Brand New Music stated, "Please look after and send lots of support to Kim Dong Hyun, who has just taken his first steps to achieving his dream."
