Sunny Gets Her Fortunes Read on “Roommate”

Girls’ Generation member Sunny visited a Tarot cards shop with her roommates Lee Gook Joo and Nana on the latest episode of celebrity home-sharing variety show “Roommate.”

It was Sunny’s first time getting her Tarot cards read. Sunny asked the Tarot card reader about her professional career. She then jokingly added, “It’ll be funny if I get ‘Death’.”

To everyone’s surprise, Sunny did pick the ‘Death’ card. Lee Gook Joo showed her concern, saying, “I don’t know much about Tarot but this seems bad.”

The Tarot reader said, “You are making money right now, but your body is tired. You should rely more on your friends.”

After hearing Sunny’s fortunes, Lee Gook Joo and Nana comforted her and told her that she could rely on them.

lol, Death isn't actually that terrible of a card...it basically/usually just means the end of something, but can also symbolize the beginning of something new.

...if you actually buy into tarot cards, anyway :P

That fortune is completely unsurprising.
I don't put to much stock in Tarot but the last time I let a friend talk me into getting it done I picked the lovers, the tower and death and the lady was like wtf

That's not that weird of a set, though kind of intense. At least the way I was taught to read, you've got a major choice (lovers), sudden change (tower) and major change (Death). Transitions all the way down. (Hmm. I might have pulled those right before I decided to leave graduate school, I can't remember.)

That tarot reader didn't even need to look at the cards to give that reading. And it's so obviously right.

Death is not a bad card from what I know from Tarot 101. It is a card that symbolises change/transition though.
