what basically happend is that kpopkfans admin transtlated a pann with pretty old news and melodies didn't realised it was a joke.
btob leader and maknae guested on mnet dirty talk. shows like that, (war of words or radio star) have being rather mean as a concept so such a remark is nothing special or surprising there.
yoo se yoon became friends with btob after he was on beatles code with them (even passing his baboon gag to eunkwang lol) and doesn't do disservice to them. melodies bombarded his insta and twitter, and he felt like apologising afterwards, even though the remark was aired months ago. sungjae also felt the need to defend his sunbae.
it's kinds like tablo apologising for that mino joke

It was based on that celebs that copy taeyang tumblr, with pics of tablo and do wearing the same shirt and a caption calling tablo the "nugu" it was hilarious but then ppl took it seriously because the idea that not all exo fans take things seriously is, like exo itself, an alien concept to them. then it got back to tablo and he tweeted something like "it's ok if people don't know who i am, i'll work harder"

man i feel bad for tablo all that attention he pays to fans on twitter and this is the crap he gets :(
