This show made my heart hurt. I just want to hug Siwan and tell him everything will be okay.

I think I'm projecting too much when it comes to this show.

I hyped myself up for this show over the past couple of months and it's delivered (for the fist two episodes, at least, haha). I've never read Misaeng. I wish I could, but I don't think there are any translations out there.

I really did feel for Geurae, especially after his coworkers left him at the factory--that brought back some painful memories of my own. I can understand why some people are frustrated with him, though. Youngyi is another strong character for Kang Sora, which I like. Her English and Russian sound good!

I see Geurae is starting to play the office politics game at the end of the second episode when he picks that awful pervert bluffer guy for a partner. I wonder if his choice to participate in the game will end up corrupting him in some way.

I've been so excited for Misaeng and it hasn't disappointed at all. Even if Geurae is a little bit clueless about anything not related to go, he's trying so hard to do well that you can't help but feel bad for him.
I can't wait to see how each individual character grows throughout the drama and I hope they can sustain such a high level of production as it really makes this drama seem real.

I am in love with this show so far. If they keep the same tone and quality all throughout, it's possibly gonna be one of my favorite dramas of the year. I wanted to read the webtoon but you need to pay to access the middle portion. D:

Also, for anyone speaking Russian, how accurate was Kang Sora's Russian? Her English was pretty good!

Actually, reading the synopsis make me drama sounds so boring -- the kind of drama that I probably wouldn't be watching even if my fave actors/actresses are in it. :P But Im surprised by reading the comment here saying how intense it is (how can office drama be intense)? So I will probably check it out later.

I LOVE IT. After the long string of crap (minus a few noteworthy ones like Marriage, Not Dating, INR3 etc.) this is like the drama we all deserve. I'm so happy with it so far, and I really, really hope this launches Kang So Ra in a way her previous work hasn't.

Anyone who works with Lee Sung Min is so lucky. He's the anchor in everything he does.

off to a great start! I haven't seen the original webtoon, but i like that it's slightly darker with a story worth telling. It has a bit of heart and fun here and there to balance it out.

directing's great, as expected from the director of monstar.

My sister was watching it last night and I saw bits here and there. Seems like a good drama.

Office politics I hate it so much this why I refuse to go back working in an office :

Great start, I hope the drama can maintain its quality. The style and atmosphere of the drama (enhanced by the music use) reminds me of a J-Drama (also how all kinds of relationships are introduced to the audience) while the camera work almost has a movie feel.
The prologue was captivating and beautifully shot, I'm surprised this drama has such a big budget (I read that they also filmed in Petra :O).

Siwan is great in this role, Geurae's glumness and sincerity really shone trough. My heart hurts seeing him go through life like that.
Kang Haneul looks so different here, I didn't recognize him at first.

I've been looking forward to this drama since I heard there was going to be an adaptation. I haven't read the manhwa it's based on, but the story appeals to me: the crushing mundane-ness of office life, trying not to lose yourself amid the many demands placed upon you, feelings of isolation, eventually building a bond with your co-workers and growing together as you navigate professional and personal life.

Still on the first ep but omg I am IN LOVE. The feeeels. Already cried for Geu Rae. This show hits so close to home. Shi Wan is doing a great job so far. And KANG SO RA. I am so glad she's in this drama.

"I say yes when I haven't done anything wrong." Lmao love Geurae. And UGH UGH UGH I seriously hate it when people deliberately ostracize another person. I know nepotism sucks and is not fair, but in cases like his where he is actually trying please someone just give him a chance.

Still can't tell if Haneul's character has shady intentions or not, which... is intriguing haha.

I admit I started to watch it only because the cast and I don't know anything about the original manhwa, but I'm really enjoying the story so far and I agree with the comments above, I also had a j-drama feel in the style of this drama.

Also, Kang Sora's English and Russian sounded so professional, and after two episodes I say Siwan's hopelessly timid and clueless character doesn't annoy me yet, hopefully I don't have to wait too much for him to start mature and become more self-assured, but what we saw at the beginning in that chasing scene was really promising.

And I'm enjoying how they altered Kang Haneul's look with the glasses and hair style, so far I find him irritating, I can't decide whether he's good guy who's just too shy or someone cunning, I can't wait to know more about character he plays!
