age ine boy

plot:
There’s a commonly held superstition that you will face adversity in the ninth year (or any year that ends in nine) of your life before you embark on a new decade. For four boys and men in different decades of their lives, that adage couldn’t be truer.
Koo Gwang Soo (Oh Jung Se), 39, was the star producer/director (PD) of the top live music program until an unfortunate incident on the show derailed his career. Still pining for his ex-girlfriend, Joo Da In (Yoo Da In), Kwang Soo really wants to settle down before the new decade of his life.
Brothers Kang Jin Goo (Kim Young Kwang), Kang Min Goo (Yook Sung Jae) Kang Dong Goo (Choi Ro Woon) also face unexpected challenges in their young lives.
Jin Goo, 29, is a successful tour planner for a vacation travel agency who suddenly starts to doubt his future. He also falls in love with a friend at work, Ma Se Young (Kyung Soo Jin), who doesn’t return his feelings.
Min Goo, 19, is a high school senior who lives for judo and wants to attend college on a judo scholarship. But when he keeps running into a mysterious girl, Han Soo Ah (Park Cho Rong), he becomes smitten with her but realizes she may be out of his reach.
Dong Goo, 9, is a famous child actor who made it big doing food commercials. But his young career is threatened when he loses a job to a rival new child actor for the first time. He also must keep his secret relationship with 8-year-old child actress Jang Baek Ji (Lee Chae Mi) from leaking to the media!

cast:
Kim Young Kwang, Kyung Soo Jin, Oh Jung Se, Yoo Da In, Yook Sung Jae, Park Cho Rong, Choi Ro Woon, Kim Mi Kyung, Lee Chae Mi, Kim Hyun Joon, Park Minha

I was actually very satisfied wth the ending even tho it was cut short. Although I guess I was just surprised when Jin Goo and Se Young started talking about marriage bc it felt like that came outta nowhere

I fell in love with Chorong and I want her to do more

I'm probably gonna write an essay oops

39 - Da In is such a frustrating character!!! I was overall really pleased with all the characters but I feel like she made no progress and just somehow wanted to date Gwangsoo again so as to stop him from bugging her. But I did like their interactions together with Eunseo, I liked it best when all 3 of them did stuff together and that Gwangsoo didn't give a shit what his sister thought about them (not that he ever did)

29 - Even though it was probably really obvious I honestly didn't think they'd be the couple who'd end up getting married. Jingoo was such an asshole to her when they had their first fallout, he deserved the cold shoulder he got when he tried confessing. But they're SO cute together (the hug on the stairs!!!) and getting caught by Dong goo lol.

19 - I'm glad they went their separate ways, Min goo was way too immature for her. His two friends always knew better. I appreciate the effort he made but I love that Su Ah called him out on the fact that he dreamt things up all by himself.

9 - His ending is my favourite! He was pretty hilarious albeit bratty throughout the series but I love his realisation that good acting came from experiences, not acting school. Do Minjoon wasn't even a good actor lol.

Overall I'm REALLY satisfied with the whole drama and how it ended :')

I don't understand Da In at all and really wished Kwangsoo had moved on to someone else...

Every other romance played out as expected...I loved Dong Goo finding his emotions and being able to act

Su Ah and Min Goo were my fave couple so I was SO upset they broke up. But it was the most realistic outcome and they weren't ready for a relationship at that age yet especially Min Goo. I'm just going to believe they meet again later in life and get together then since they're "fated" lol. :(

love love this show even though it was frustrating at times. we need more dramas like this rather than the typical big network makjang crap or the meek weekend dramas

I really enjoyed this drama and I am satisfied with the ending.

My only complaint is that we never really knew why Da In broke up with Gwangsoo a decade ago. She's sooo vague at everything she does and Gwangsoo deserved better.

Anyway, I do hope Sungjae gets more acting projects in the months to come. Boy can act.

I was mostly happy with all the outcomes, but I really can't stand Da In. She needed to stop being so wishy washy, and either decide to push ahead with Gwangsoo no matter what, or call it quits. Instead she's just keeping him on a hook. I wish he'd given up on her and moved on.

All the others I was happy with and thought they were realistic :).

i was mainly here for cuties jin goo and se young due to my time constraints. they made this my comfort drama this season. guess i have to go back and watch the other storylines. overall i found this a bit slow, but once i have time i think i'd enjoy it more.

min goo's breakup with soo ah was a refreshing end. i was wondering how each love line would be represented differently.

i loved the directing and ost for this show and My Secret Hotel.
